I started thinking about this due to a combination of seeing the anthropology survery and searching various internet sites. This may belong more in the vs forum, but I've seen similar stuff here and, let's face it, I'm looking at 5 responses to my poll, at best, in the vs forum. I'm more interested in the poll responses, since I'm not sure how trustworthy the posts would be. Well here's my question:

Would you ever enter into an interracial marriage?

It could be the difference of I don't care about race at all, or I would rather not, but I would if the right person came along.
 
Most guys ( I know) cares only if a woman is fine and or has a good personality. Race aint that important, love is. God that last part was horrible and gay. but true.

Well, you should've answered within the context of the question. I'm not the marriage type either but I answer 'yes' since I consider this a hypothetical situation.

I'm talking about favouring a particular group for long term relationships, i.e. if you were to enter into one then A, B, C or D.

Well hypothetically no, I wouldn't marry anyone. But if I had to, and I didn't have the option of death, of course I'd go interracial.
 
I'm currently dating a Jamaican girl that I would have never thought I'd be involved with initially, mainly due to cultural differences, not racial. I have no problem at all w/interracial marriage. If it's a problem it's one for other people, not the couple.

I vote probably not, simply becuase my boyfriend is plain ol' caucasian like me, and I don't see myself with anyone else at the moment.

Now assuming we ever brake up, I could see myself settling down with a nice Asian boy...
 
It would be interesting to break down the races too. If you were white, would you be more inclined to marry an Asian person rather than a Black person? What about Hispanic?

I'm mostly hispanic, so going interracial would actually be my preference.
 
I dont plan on marriage, but I answered yes. The only way I will get married is if my now GF really wants too and we agree to go to the courthouse and sign the papers, im not a church goer and would rather not have a whole wedding cerimony.

I'm guessing it still counts the votes from before the change over but doesn't know who they came from.
