updated! mostly matters of organization have been dealt with.
taught my friend how to cook chicken in a pan tonight. not even kidding. he'd never done it. always uses the oven for some reason.
 
jeez, so we opened for battles tonight... have any of you heard of them? they're on warp records... so anyway, they've got this crazy hype going (like seriously everyone i talked to this past week was like, "oh yeah, battles, they're awesome!"), and the place was packed (probably 500-600 there or so), but i really wasn't into them. very frustrating. lots of cool stuff going on, and they do a lot of cool stuff with live looping and then playing over top of it, but there was no substance behind all the cool stuff... it was just jamming. annoying. drummer was a monster though, playing along live to loops with no click or anything, and he was spot on. very impressive. still annoying though.

i'll get them tomorrow - my friend who has my gcn games didn't come up today, but we're having lunch tomorrow so i'll have them then. should be able to ship them tomorrow if i get them all early enough. will let you know.
thanks for being patient! it's a bit annoying dealing with having all my stuff all over miami, but i don't really have much choice since i'm crashing on couches until i move into my new place in july. :) it's been a good impetus to get rid of stuff, though!

Crashing on couches sounds like fun and GL in your new place, I'm still looking for a great location to set up house in :p

Hopefully when you get the games back they'll still be in mint condition :O

Yeah, the couching hasn't been too bad. It's better (and cheaper!) than finding a place for just a month, which would have been super annoying.
New place is going to be seriously awesome. Couple other people i work with found this huge house in the burbs of miami which has three bedrooms plus these two enormous rooms to set up our studios in, plus it has a pool! i've never lived in a house with a pool before. :)

games should be mint, but i will let you know before i ship if there are any condition problems. shouldn't be a problem, i don't think. :O

went to the post office today, but if you search usps.com for a post office in homestead, fl, it gives you an address that's just an apartment complex. ridiculous! i double checked at home, and my homestead friend confirmed that the address on the post office website is just an apartment complex, and in fact the closest post office is like six miles away from there. silly.

after i realized i didn't have your address, i waited as long as i could before going, but i didn't hear from you so i had to go before the post office closed (the one near me today closed at 5pm est, lame i know).
not your fault of course, since i realized we hadn't exchanged addresses at about 4pm. :)
anyway, first thing tomorrow morning, and i'll get your DC# out shortly thereafter. everything looks nice all boxed up, if it makes you feel better. :)

are you still in regular classes? or is it summer session? it's pretty late into the summer for school, eh?
man... i never had time to play video games in school. i made it my resolution after graduating to play more video games and watch more sports, and i think i've been doing a good job of both. :)

Hahaha, I did enough of that after I got out of High School to really put me in a bind.
I'm in summer session, and I'm going both sessions >.>
Now I have to go full blast every semester just to catch up with where I should be at, actually I should've transferred to a CSU/UC by now :/
