I'm looking for excellent to mint (no scratches) complete (game, case, manual) PS2 Futurama and World of Outlaws. I'm willing to pay $25 shipped for each game. I also have a few items on my trade list. Please pm me if you have what I'm looking for. Thanks, TexTuna

I have WoO, though I think it's a little scratched and the case is decent, but not excellent. Bought it from GameStop a long time ago, so you can judge the quality by that.

Well if someone is looking for Futurama for Xbox the CDtradepost in Emporia, KS has one available used for $17.99 before shipping. See the thread in my sig for instructions how to order from them.

Yes it is uncommon, but $17.99 when you do find one at GS. There are a few copies within 50 miles of me (the other end of the metroplex) guess I'll just have to be unlazy this weekend.

Mtx...$25 is more than a fair price when it can be had for $18, plus packaging and shipping and a little more. We ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHEAP ASSED GAMERS HERE - not raper's right?

BTW the friggin game can be had even on ebay in the $35 range so don't act like I'm trying to take advantage of someone....just offer a trade or shut the hell up.

Just this week I picked up a stone cold mint Marvel vs Capcom 2 for $45 from GS. Now that game is MUCH more rare and valuable than a friggin Futurama....sheesh man....
Isn't Futurama suposed to be hard to find? I saw it about a month ago at an EB for I think $29.99 PO but I passed.
Yeah, but geting a mint game from gamestop is hard to find.I picked up 6 World of Outlaws from gamestop and not even one of them came close to mint condition

Sorry, I forgot to mention that my GS situation is a little different than most people. There are probably easily over 150-200 Gamestops and EB Games in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex so at any one time some of them have even the rarest of titles for the current generation systems so I do get to be a little picky.

That being said I should state that I'm open to copies in lesser condition than that to serve as an example until I upgrade.

Thanks,
TexTuna

Does Dallas or Forth Worth Metroplex region really have that much stores?Just in the small overpopluated NYC region their are more then 40 ebgames and gamestop less then 10 mile radius. It's not hard to jump at least 20 stores in one day.

I've never added them up but the entire metroplex, yeah the number would have to be in that range. There is literally one of each it seems in every mall and often one (sometimes both) at most major intersection strip centers. As you say I can easily hit 20-30 or more in one afternoon just in my section of the metroplex. I don't know how familiar you are with the D/FW area but I haven't ever even strayed outside of a boundary of Mesquite on the East, N Dallas on the South, Frisco/Lewisville/Flower Mound on the North, and Irving on the West. That is only a small section (roughly 50 miles square or more) of the metroplex area. When you add in the Game Rushes, Game Crazes, Game Wyzes, independents, Rhinos, MTC's, and Lord knows what else it is really a game rich environment. I've allways loved it here for finding just about anything.

Just because gamestop shows it online for $17.99 doesn't mean you'll find a complete copy in the store. A quick ebay search shows that the game ends around 35 without shipping costs. The two buy it now copies out there right now are over 35 each (with the 35.00 one being DISC ONLY).

It's funny how you don't mention world of outlaws. Another eBay search reveals it easily ends for $40+, if not more.

We are supposed to be cheap ass gamers, yes...but that doesn't mean we are dumbass gamers either.

Mtx,

It never hurts to post an inquiry. If I was out of line I wouldn't have found them now would I?

Clariste is selling me a WoO for my asking price. It might not be mint but it will do until I find an upgraded copy.

So please, just bug someone else thank you.

Feel free to offer your games at ebay prices to other CAG's. Your attitude is one that I choose not to do business with regardless of what your prices would be.

And I even bought it for ~$30 used at GS some time ago. Damn, I'm a nice guy.

Yep you are, thanks.

Now all I just need Futurama. Thought I had it but it slipped away when a cash offer was made. If the deal doesn't still happen I'll end up making another trade offer (one even Mtx would agree with I'm sure).

I saw Futurama for Xbox at two different FYEs for $15 brand new.

Why you would want that game is beyond me. Rare or not, it still sucks.

damn..i'm moving there, haha

I'm wanting it for PS2. A few reasons even if it does suck. 1) I've allways been a fan of the series and 2) because it is rare.

I do have my standards though... :) Shrek Super Party is also rare but I can do without a game all about collecting bug juice!

The gameplay is nothing to write home about but the cutscenes are the real reason to play through the game, they all come together to form a single episode of Futurama, and the result is hillarious.
