Wanted: Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

Well I can't help but you might want to check around ebay, look for late ending auctions. My friend scored a copy for $36 shipped a couple of weeks back.

Well the enimes can be pretty nasty and use cheap tricks like instant death. The bosses can also be wicked, requireing multiple attempts or a strategy guide to beat, you really have to formulate a strategy to beat most of them and often they have very nasty moves and occasionally they just decide to take multiple turns in a row.

Oh and if your main character dies in a battle you loose. It gets a bit annoying when he gets killed by an instant death spell and you loose while all of your monsters are at full life.
 
Damn games that don't beat themselves...

Games are getting too easy... I beat Doom 3 and HL2 with only dying 4-5 times... and that was generally because I was just dinking around.

The way you describe it totally turns me off from ever buying this game. If it's so hard, what exactly makes this game fun to play in the first place?
 
Every game used to be that hard... Today's gamers are soft.

The fun came from knowing you were among the 7 people that could actually beat the damn game.
