Warhawk bundle, including headset $15.99 used @ FYE(possibly YMMV)

After getting rid of the bundle I bought from the Sears clearance, I got an itch to play this game again, so while I was out of town today I stopped in an FYE.

While there, I saw the big box from the Warhawk bundle. However, I figured it was probably JUST the game in that huge box. I had the clerk check it for me and I was shocked to find out it was the entire bundle(including the USB charging cable for the Jabra BT headset).

The price: $15.99

Now, I'm not sure if they REQUIRE the headset when taking in the game for trade or not, but apparently whoever traded this one in DID trade it in with it.

Of course, like all deals this may be HUGELY YMMV, but for those who missed out on the $9.97 bundles @ Sears, this is a great way to get the bundle for cheaper than $30(if you can find one complete).

Apologies all around if this is already posted elsewhere.

Hmmm, used headset...yummy!

Anyway, not bad, if you can find it. People will, without a doubt, come into the thread and complain about the quality of the headset. They seem to always do so in any thread about this bundle. Well, I use the headset, and it's ok. Not good...but it does its jobs. And for the price, that's what you want.
 
I see them fairly regularly at mine, though I've seen the game without the big packaging OFTEN as well, so it will definitely be a task to find one complete. But it can be done.

That's how I bought my SOCOM headset though, for $10 from GS about 4-6 months ago, though admittedly the SOCOM one isn't an intra-ear one. But that can be solved with some rubbing alcohol to try and sanitize it, I'm sure.

I just figured I'd pass along this, since unless your Kmarts have the bundles leftover and you can wait until whenever they clearance them(most of my Kmarts have the bundles shoved in the back at the bottom of the case(s) ), then this is the next best option since GS wants $20 for the game ONLY used.
 
Actually, the one I got had dust on the headset and it looked like it was NEVER touched, same with the charging cable.

Mind you, I still have the headset and cable from my own Warhawk bundle from Sears, so I'd just use those or the SOCOM one I bought from GS.

I suppose you'd rather pay full price for a game that's online only? I know I didn't want to, which was why I got the bundle for $10 originally from Sears.

I can definitely understand why many would be leery about the used headset, but there ARE ways to sanitize them so it isn't such a gross thought.

Yeah it was used. It was in a crushed-looking Warhawk retail box that had the plastic wrap on it and an orange sticker for $39.99. I brought it to the front to have it scanned hoping it would scan cheaper but she scanned it and told me it was $39.99 to my disappointment. Would have like to snag one for my brother. oh well

I am wondering if they accidentally tagged yours as a used game only copy and not the bundle with headset.
 
That could be. If someone else finds the bundle at FYE and could price check it and it comes up $39.99, then I'll ask the mods to lock and delete this.

What happens is we get Boxes senrt to us with 100,200 or 300 pieces in it each store from the online warehouse that has been returned or unsold.
ALOT of times we get some super sweet things that come through like I had perfect dark zero for $1.99... Halo 3 legendary came in for $19.99 with helmet.. Some wii game with wiimote and nunchuck for $19.99...

This is a "your lucky ass hell you found it" type of deal so please dont go searching for it. We cant pick what we get.

And if it was shrink wrapped with a dark orange sticker, it was from the home office so that headset either doesnt work or is pretty nasty lol.


I got the batman collectors set in. Reason it was returned... 2 copies of Batman returns and no batman and robin lol... $5.99... traded in at $12 per dvd (collectors editions)

Look for a Reax (spelling) in our stores. 99% of the time first 3 pages or back 3 pages there is a 40% off coupon for used. Use that it should help. I use them for my used blu ray everyday... Got american phycho and Premontion for $6.97

Actually, the box was only sealed with tape at either end and not really shrinkwrapped, but the disc was what I would expect from FYE(MINT) and the headset looked unused.

Hell, the way it is, I still have the headset from my sealed WH set I bought from Sears 3-5 months ago and it's unused as well.

Either way, I wanted to give Warhawk another whirl and for $16 I figured why not.
