Wario Ware and Mario Party control questions

I'd like to get one (or both) of these games, but I'm wondering about the hardware needed for multiplayer. In a four-player game, does each player need a nunchuck, or can the games be played with the Wiimote only? Thanks!

WarioWare "passes the baton" around so that you only need one Wii remote. It gets very frenetic.

There's one or two bonus games that require a nunchuck in Mario Party, but the actual game/story mode itself does not require one.

And just a heads up, in wario ware, you pass one remote around like you're playing hot potato or something, you can't use multiple remotes as it's a 1 player game. I think. I'm pretty sure, anyway.
