It's being developed by Digital Extremes, makers of Unreal and Pariah.

Set to release in March for $30.

Looks a lot like the original Unreal Tournament to me, only with vehicles. The upgradeable weapon system sounds interesting too.

I've had some hands-on time with it. It's basically a combination of UT's multi-player focused gameplay and Pariah's upgradeable weapon system.

To be honest it's nothing special -- the graphics are pretty blah and there really isn't anything innovative about it -- yet at the same time it is an easy-to-pick-up game to play. It also has the pseudo-Risk single-player mode, but it's basically a facade for playing a bunch of multiplayer modes with different customization options.

I will say this...if any of you guys pick up in late March/early April make sure to upgrade your grenade launcher so you can obtain sticky grenades. For some reason, watching enemies run around with grenades stuck to them -- grenades which you can detonate at your leisure -- is strangely satisfying.
