Wartech: Senko No Ronde

anyone still play? I tried not to get this when I saw it for $10 at Gamestop, but I saw it was $10 at Best Buy also and I buckled down and got it.

I'm Azumangaman (as stated above). I haven't played for a while. Add me, and just PM me whenever you want to play (on XBL). I'll be game in a few weeks (or whenever my sexbox 360 comes back)

I need to check out this here game.

I was über excited back before it came out, and then kept getting more excited as it dropped in price like a rock.

I rather enjoy Senko! It's so much a Virtua On/Psychic Force hybrid. It really deserves more of a fandom than it recieved in the US, silly Ubisoft... well, at least it came out here.

Anyway, if you wanna fight on it, my gamertag is the same as my name here, WITH A SPACE RATHER THAN A DASH. I don't play it MUCH lately, so I may be rusty, so bring on the fun!

according to xbox.com you don't exist
who does everyone play? I really only like Lily, because she has charging missles for her main attack.
I think the music is pretty awesome also.

 Yeah, put that extra " - " in there, oops. There we go! :applause:

Sakurano, and Karel. Then Lily. They're my favs. And I totally agree about the music, I love it.

I will agree, the game seems enjoyable. I've played it twice so far (after picking up for $10 a few months ago). I really need to play it some more. I wonder, are there many people playing online still?

I bought Wartech when it first went on sale at EB for $10. I played it for about an hour and haven't touched it since. I just didn't "get it".

I want to give the game another shot though. I read on some forum that the default controls make no sense whatsoever and re-configuring them makes the game much more enjoyable. Anyone know more about this? How do you guys have your controls configured?

type it out for me, I still haven't found you and I put in a few variations too.

I use the default controls. I understand X for main weapon, Y for sub weapon, and A for dash but I don't understand the B buttons function.

B button is a shield from what I remember. But you can only use it when you sub-weapon meter is full. You can either use that or your sub-weapon.

I really enjoyed the game and played through all the charcters story and time attacks. I also played a few games online and I beat my first opponent and got the Novice achievement with one win.

I still have the game and would be willing to play some online matches sometime. I have not played since June so I'm definetly rusty.

My XBL name is

SAB CA

Just like that, with the empty space btwn the SAB and CA.

A good article that gets in depth with Senko:

Wartech: Senko No Ronde Article at Hg101:

Big note:
THE MANUAL's MOVE ALL HAVE A TYPO IN THEM! Where-ever the manual says "B" in movelist, it means "X". X and Y are your main weps, and pushing both together uses your central weapon. It's ALOT like Virtual On.

As for me, I might play later tonight, depending on what my friends are up to.

Like I said I have not played the game since June. I guess I was wrong.
But now that I looked it up it is for barrage attacks. You need to use it with another button to do different attack patterns. Sorry for the mix up.

If you have the book check the move list for each character. I do not think it will do anything by itself unless you use it in a combo to do a barrage attack.

After so much talk about the game here, I fought quite a few players this morning, around 9 AM eastern time, on live. Mostly Japanese, a few Americans too, though. Wasn't too hard to find games at all.

Those japanese players are awesome, though. You can tell they had specific play strats for taking on each type of opponent. I had an amazingly hard time getting through their well-played defenses.

Definitely makes me want to get back into the game even more, now. So much strategy to refine...
