AquaFresh is having a commercial contest. Grand prize is 10 large. YouTube popularity accounts for 40% of the contest, while the other 60% hinges on originality and brand relevance as judged by the AquaFresh bigwigs.

Full disclosure: his is by far the best one out of the 20 or so I've watched. Some of the stuff on there is pure crap, including the one that currently has the most views.

Is the YouTube popularity portion of the contest being judged solely on the number of views? I'd like to watch the others, but not if it will help them.

So basically my brother has no chance of being the #1 most viewed, but I think racking up views still helps him in the scoring. Not sure what sort of math they're using to tally things in the end.

No harm in watching the other vids though. Some of them are too hilariously bad to miss.

Wtf? The one in first place sucks. A lot. That's a damn shame that things like this always turn into a popularity contest.
 
Yeah, pretty lame.

The hope is that the judges at AquaFresh who control 60% of the score will know how many YouTube hits these have before they watch them. That way they can see that the one with far and away the most views is utter garbage, and make up for that injustice by shafting it extra hard in their share of the score.

Or maybe I'm wrong and that 70K views guy has 10 big ones headed his way simply because he had an unfair reach advantage, so to speak.

The commercial was actually shot in crystal clear 1080P, but everything looks like junk after it's YouTubitized.

It's just a 10 second clip with a pictures of either a bikini chick with big boobs or a close up of some big bikini boobs that says "click link in description". The link goes to the guy with 70,000 views... The account that posted those videos has several links to the 70,000 view video on their channel page, and the only video shown there is their "Favorite"... The 70,000 views stupid commercial. What an epic douche.

I cant believe that I actually loved it. Great job. If your bro doesnt win it would be a damn shame. Him squeezing the toothpaste out the top of his head and the look of the tooth as he's rubbing it on him is priceless.
