Wavebird $28 shipped on Amazon

I'm not sure but it doesn't look like it will fit since the Wii has a flap that blocks the sensor you place in the controller slot (since theres that large chunk) i'll edit when i find a pic
Has Nintendo confirmed Wii compatability?
They'll definitely work, afaik nothing has been said about still needing the receivers plugged in though.

EDIT: About the flap, I remember somebody saying that it folds all the way over and therefore won't block the port.

I think I heard about that too, but I wasn't quite sure so i didn't include it in my original post

How do you sign up for the trial?

^As that picture is, it will not be able to fit in that.

I would suspect that will be either fixed or that you won't need the reciever. At worst you will have to get an extention cord I guess, but I don't think Nintendo would do that.

Actually, Nintendo's famous for making you have to buy various parts of proprietary hardware to get things to work right.

it's a random promotional offer. just wait around and it should pop up eventually... if you shop at amazon frequently (it shows up when you're ready to check out). mine took 3 months between offers to appear.

I remember when I bought my wavebird like 8 months ago when it was used at EB for what claimed to be $24.99, but it turned out to have a little warping on the analog. It was actually marked at $12.99 or so. It was $12.99-$17.99. Still a great deal though.

But no tax so it ends up being about the same price, and cheapy gets his affiliate kick back therefore we support cag with our purchase :D .
they have been $24.99 at gamecrazy for about a month.
Not everyone has a Gamecrazy near them.

Thanks Cheapy!! After going wireless with the 360, I've been looking for a good deal on a Wavebird in time for the Wii launch. Wires? We don't need no stinkin' wires!!

Itll show up if you stick something pricey in your cart. Put a 360 in and go to the shipping stage, you should get the trial offer then.

ANother price drop catches me with my pants down....

I had some wavebirds listed on Amazon under the "classic grey"listing, but amazon no longer shows that, jsut the platinum.

I have a couple left I'd sell to my fellow CAGs for $24 shipped priority mail. PM me if interested.
