Wavebird Battery Pack by Nuby

Don't think it's worth the money, really. The Wavebird uses such little battery power that the cost of batteries for the entire time you use it will probably be less than $8...if you don't blow $6 for 4 batteries.

Thanks for the post AdamInPlaidum, just was trying to find out if this was worth it. I guess not based on what you have told me.
 
I got it for $10 at Fry's over the holidays and I think it's worth it. It's not the best device, the battery pack doesnt *perfectly* snap into the wavebird, but if you don't want to worry about having/using batteries this is a decent solution.
 
(old thread i know) ... i just bought two of these and theres no instructions, so i was hoping someone who had these could tell me if i need to have the wavebird turned on for the battery pack to properaly charge.
