I would say its a bad idea tot use strider without doom, however if you're absolutely intent on it doing Strider:variety, Sent ground, and capcom AA is a decent team because you can lock on the ground and maintain a solid keepaway AA at all times. However, using sent drones effectively to setup strider orbs is much harder than just chipping to death with doom.

of the six chars you posted I would say a good team to start with would be BH/Cable/Capcom. Otherwise you could sub storm for BH or cable (wouldnt recommend this one though)

I would stay away from Magneto and Ironman for now, especially IM because of his execution and spacing requirements for even being close to competent with him.

I'd be happy to help you out along with Jim after tomorrow (midterms).

I like it so far. If you liked Fable 2 you're definitely going to like this one. It's not going to change anyone's mind about the series.
 
I almost forgot what it was like to play only "ok" games since I usually only buy stuff that look great. Infamous and DMC4 are both kind of ehhh. Good enough to finish but yeah...

And Infamous has the most obnoxiously dumb plot that I've ever witnessed.

Any of you actually finish Nier? I'm playing it now, but the further I get into the game the worse it seems to get. Just trying to decide if I should keep going or stop....anyone know how far I am from the end?

I'm selling an unopened copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy on Ebay and the buyer is being a pain in my ass. About 2 days after winning he sent me an email asking what condition it was in. I tell him it it's brand new and has never been open. A day later he sends me another message asking me about the condition of the plastic wrap and if it still has the "Y folds" on the end, I tell him yes and he tells me I'll get the money soon. About a week later I get a message asking if there are any tears in the plastic... At this point I think the guy is just messing with me at this point.
 
I would just tell him no, it's just as if he bought it from the store and that if you don't see payment soon you'll be re-listing and reporting him as a non-paying. I hate it when people mess around like that.

Did you get a plastic bag when you bought the game? If so, is it still in said bag?

What is it you don't like about the game?

Your still in the first part of the game, your going to be coming up on a pretty annoying part and then it gets very good and emotional.

I'm currently at school in England, but I've been missing my 360 (mainly Madden '11) and I feel like I need Madden back in my life.
I have the funds to grab a previously-owned UK 360, and I know that Madden is region free so I have a couple questions if anyone here can help:

1) I don't have a proper monitor but I have this laptop (http://www.sonystyle.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=100803&storeId=20153&langId=200&identifier=S_F_SERIES_PAGE ), is using a 360 even possible?
2) Can I recover my gamertag if its a different region console? I don't want to have to get a whole new console :/

If a game doesn't have a decent menu and a decent jumping animation (for those games that it applies to), chances are the game isn't all that great.

It was occasionally, I think it kicked you out every time you drank a potion or ate something, which was very annoying if you wanted to use multiples of an item.

Hey Azumang,

I don't think that laptop has video in. At least I didn't see it listed in the spec.
 
Profiles don't have to match the console's region.

The free copy of PvZ I got from the Tawainese LIVE game marketplace is proof of that.

And wouldn't just getting a VGA cable and a cheap monitor be easier than trying to use the laptop?
 
Persona 2 PSP = the best PSP game.

Hopefully playing Innocent Sin for the first time should help me forget how godawful Persona 1 still is...

I know Star War's is receiving some pretty mediocre reviews, but I'm having a blast.
I played for a few hours, and I have no complaints this far. I love the fact that the Saber Crystals are much easier to find this time, and the fact Star has two lightsabers. I can understand some people saying he's a little overpowered, but honestly that just adds to the fun for me. Ultimate destruction FTW! If you want more of a challenge, play it on a higher difficulty, but at the moment I'm content kicking ass. Graphics are beautiful and I have already run into a couple familiar faces ;)
