Alright, decided to start using up the site again, after not using it for a while. Since I stopped after all the prizes were killed, and the restocks were not happening (A few months ago), and I don't feel like reading 15+ pages, what has changed? Anything?
 
I still haven't received Super Mario Galaxy, which I ordered all the way back on May 9th. They were supposedly sending me the game "ASAP" on Thursday of last week, but I still haven't gotten it.

Not much. Restocks are random now. Still hard to find. I havent been trying to get anything lately but havent heard about any restocks in months. When you do get something expect to wait a good 2 months for it to arrive.

It kind of works out alright though, you order something, wait 2 months for it to come and by then you have enough points for another game.

Shipping takes about four days. You said Thursday.
They seem to send around 9PM, so Friday/Saturday/Monday would be the most shipping, you might receive it Tuesday (today) or Wednesday. I'd send them an email after Wednesday's mail has been "received" and see what they say. If it was sent USPS, it might take alittle longer.

Ideally, if they had a survey every week or every day it would help. But they are random and I am pretty sure that only the first X amount of people to take them get the points. 1000 pts a day to watch the video is slow but eventually gets you there.

Getting lots of people to sign up under you and waiting for them to hit 3000 pts would be the fastest way, not too likely though.

Its been 3 weeks since I got that email.... :/

I'm looking to unload my current account. It has a little over 62,000 credits. If anyone is interested then PM me. I'm just too inpatient for this now.

I'd ideally like to get something like MGS 4 (would be nice for someone who scored a good deal at the meijer sale) or GTA 4 in return.
 
Anyone heard anything from them in the last couple weeks? Ive sent a lot of emails to them since then and havent heard a single response. Maybe they just gave up and not bothering with that anymore. But not telling anyone because then their site would have no audience.

This is pretty funny post by Rancecosta in a thread suggesting new ideas for the website:

That and im done pandering to the freeloaders.

I guess we are all freeloading crybabies. I guess we shouldnt expect much from a site where the person who runs it is the troll in the forums. I would bet at least 2/3rds of the users on there are "freeloaders" only there for the schwag. I guess I shouldnt cry about it though=-x

Holy crap, I got my copy of Super Mario Galaxy today!

As for his remarks about the freeloaders, hahahahaha! Who the hell is he kidding? Where does he think he's getting all of his traffic from? You know, the traffic that helps generate revenue for his site with advertising.

If he stops the schwagmart he can bet on having a significant drop in traffic.
 
Yea exactly. There really isnt much original content on there to keep anyone coming back. Maybe a few of the diehards in the other part of the forum, but really most are there for the schwag, and most have 2 accounts, and most are clicking 100 videos a day on each account.

Oh well, at least you got your stuff. Maybe Ill get mine sometime soon. Even a reply to my emails would be nice...

Rance is just making a complete ass of himself.
That sad thing is, is that these "Freeloading Crybabies" probably make up a majority of the site.

When they first promoted the site, the swaqmart was the prompted idea to get more users to come to the site. Now, being disillusioned by what they though was a site filled with rabid ad clicking car enthusiasts, they put the
"mart" on the slow side of the road. What they soon realized was that that was not the case, because of the emails constantly requesting new items/restocks for un-car-related swaq.

I think the biggest mistake they made was putting up non-car-related stuff like amazon giftcards; games like GH3, SMG, and UT3.

@whoever asked what happens when you order 2 items at the same time: read my blog :bomb:
 
He really should not be complaining. The "freeloaders" are what gives him the web traffic to justify advertisers wanting to have their banners at the site. He may be all about the cars, but that's not what is paying the bills for the guy.
 
dont they realize that its really boring and stupid how we have to do atleast 2 years of clicking on videos to get our prize?? id rather get a job and it will be a lot faster to get wut i want.
 
Every time someone posts in this thread, I kind of hope it's a post exclaiming they restocked stuff instead of expressing further disappointment.
 
got my burnout paradise for the 360 today... can't remember when i ordered.. probably a month or more ago. I also went on a vacation and came back and it arrived 2 days later! :)
 
So is this a hit or miss? I want to get an Ipod Touch and it doesn't matter how long I have to wait, so long as I get it.

I'm actually going to try and get a new DS with this, I'll post back on here in 234 days when I get 234,000 Points (Probably earlier when the guy shuts it down before then)

Oh, and I found a small glitch

I think if you look at a car or something, you get 5 points. If you click on it before you reach the max 1000/day, you can get 1005Pts/Day.

I dont think they will send you anything unless you email them for shipping info. Although now they dont even answer your emails either. Reminds me of that live search club crap...

People who started getting games again, USPS? FedEx? What should I be keeping my eye out for?

I really wish they kept an actual stock of games so that when people ordered some they could get them shipped out with a few days. It seems like they list a restock and THEN place an order someplace to get the games in and then dick around for a while and then finally ship them. If this is true they should just keep everything available to order at all times and just ship them out when they get the games in.

Maybe the "new" full time schwag staff will fix this problem. So far they seem nonexistent though.
 
I just got my :ps3: Burnout Paradise that I ordered around the middle of May.
It came via USPS and I didn't email them asking "WARZ MI STUFFZZ!!";):lol:

Nope, and I emailed them again just a few days ago, still waiting for a response.

And in their forums they tell you to email them asking where your stuff is and they will send you the tracking info if there is any.

Thats BS.
I specifically asked them for the tracking number many times and they never replied.
I think this calls for you guys to start using one of those websites that send out like 100 emails a minute until you get a response.
 
I just checked, I requested Burnout on 05/09/08 and received it today, 07/11/08, so a little over two months.
 
For Guitar Hero III I sent an email asking where it was (8 weeks after I ordered). Within a few days I got an email saying they would send me an email when it shipped, which would be by the end of the week or early the following, along with the tracking number. The following week ended and still nothing so I sent another email. A few days later I did get a tracking number because it was shipped FedEx.

Now though they havent even responded to my emails and I will probably be sending them another on Monday. Once a week sounds good for me. I ordered on 5/20 so I will at 8 weeks in a couple of days. I just dont understand how it is so hard to ship these orders out any quicker then they do. I could understand a couple of weeks, but 8-10?
 
anyone else having issues actually getting to anything on webrides? the only thing that works is the forums......

O,h I kept gettign that yesterday. Keep hitting refresh or go back and click the link again. I haven't gotten it 2day
 
I get the "Oops, an Unexpected Error Has Occurred" every time I try to browse. If you keep retrying it usually works eventually.

Hopefully its because they are going to update the marketplace... I doubt it though.

3. There is no catch. You don't even need to give away a credit card or anything except your email at the begining

THEY HARDLY RESTOCK.
So unless you want to click videos for a year to get a console you can get by actually getting a job, then don't bother.
You would probably have a better time in the Live Search Club thread.
