Same goes for 28 Weeks Later, nothing special just the retail price. Better to wait later this week to see if BB or CC have it on sale. Target is usually the worst when it comes to getting the new releases cheap.
 
How long of a time can you get prices adjusted at Target? I got Dexter - season 1 back in August and last I heard it was a 90 day policy there... if so, then yay for more money saved.
 
Anyone know if thats the unrated version of 28 weeks or Rated? And if thats going to be the price at Target ya may as well get the 29.99$ version at Best Buy for 10$ more dollars that has 28 days later, and 28 Weeks later.

I remember a few months ago seeing 2 different cases for 28 Weeks Later and I agree I believe theres 2 versions. The eyes on the case are different for the Unrated version I believe.

I still can't find a single vendor with any listing for an unrated version; the standard release (which is offered in widescreen or a full screen versions, so I guess, technically, there ARE two releases), does show the girl on the cover with a blue right eye and a red left eye, which makes sense, if you've seen the movie.
 
Guys, I do my best to get the ads transcribed as quickly as I can. However, there comes times when I either don't have the time, or I don't have access to them. You get them the second I get done typing them up. Asking where they are, or flooding my PM box isn't going to speed the process up.Thanks.
 
I love how surfs up special edition costs as much as the blu ray.

I wish theyd stop stiff the hidef people on special editions.. I absolutely want the blu ray and the special edition stuff.. damn companies.

People need to lay off. Hounding TheAdMan about the ads is ridiculous. He's providing valuable information ON HIS OWN TIME and doesn't deserve to be bombarded with PMs. It's unnecessary to constantly ask about them. He'll get to them when he can, have some patience.
 
So let me get some clarification--does this Best Buy exclusive bonus interview DVD only come with ROOTS: THE NEXT GENERATIONS, and not in the more expensive ROOTS: Complete Collection???
 
A brand new Circuit City opened up in Bolingbrook, IL. I went there to buy Firewall and 16 Blocks. Even though this is their Grand Opening they didn't have Firewall in stock.

The weird thing is that there is no front registers at all. You go up to the front which I guess is the combination Customer Service, register and On-line pickup and pay for your purchase there.

I will say that the DVDs are better displayed. About 95% is displayed with the spine visible, instead of how Circuit City usually does it with the cover art visible and with plastic placecards. Overall I like this one.
 
Does anyone know the details of the circuit city deal in the ad that says you get 2 free blu-ray movies with the purchase of a sony blu-ray player? The ad doesn't really say anything about it, and their website doesn't mention it at all.

They almost never put WS versions on sale. It's 99% FS in every sale. Usually why I never pay attention to Target's ad.

It's a good thing they didn't have Firewall, have you seen that movie? Ployholes everywhere.

And I have been to about 5 CCs and all of them have two front registers but I have never seen them used. You always have to go to the service desk to check out.
 
For lack of a 28 weeks later deal, walmart has a 2 pack of 28weekslater/28dayslater for 23 bucks, not a bad deal if you dont have the original.
 
Went to Circuit City today. Heat was not correctly priced at $5 and I had to have it price adjusted, and Basic Instinct simply wasn't on sale even though its picture is prominently displayed in the ad. Basic Instinct 2, however, was on sale, and was not in the ad. They had no copies of the original so I couldn't get them to adjust it to match the ad.

A price adjustment and a misprint. GO CIRCUIT CITY!

Personally I just got the Wrong Turn 2 & 28 weeks later deal for 25$, Wrong Turn 2 is pretty good.
