Thanks for the post. It's disappointing that no one has a good deal on the Die Hard blu-ray collection. Looks like the best price so far is from Amazon.

I just got back from Best Buy and they had the 300 Special Two Disc edition on sale for $7.99. I know it's on sale for $6.99 on BF, but it's a good price for anyone who wants to buy before then instead.
 
I picked the the 2-disc True Romance (not in the ad) for 4.99 at Best Buy.

Also, I noticed a few 2.99 Circuit City titles that weren't in the ad. "Ghost of Mars" in particular (which I bought in attempt to complete my growing John Carpenter collection.)

I picked the double points before 11am promo from Reward Zone, but it'll be near impossible for me to get to the store before 11 by Wednesday.

Does anyone know of any sales on LOST Seasons 1 - 3? I haven't seen any sale for them, not even for Black Friday.

Season 3 is't out till Dec 11th though. I would love to have them all in HD too, but since Lost is ABC which is owned by Disney, looks like it's only BD for the show, which sucks. I've only got HD-DVD.

December 11th the blu ray comes out, so there WILL be a sale on the other seasons as well.

Not sure if they will help out the Blu Ray version or come with them.. but hopefully. They also dropped the price on the Blu Ray Lost by a ton recently..

But if you want lost in hi def, you need blu ray.. its how its gonna be -_-V
 
Went ahead and snagged 300 2-disc for $7.99 - 10% off coupon. Spent a whole 20 cents more to avoid one more purchase on Black Friday.
 
Just watch many of these ads end on WEDNESDAY, they won't be good all week. The BF ads will take over on Friday and Saturday with a special "online only" sale on Thursday for BB and CC.

I hope things drop quick - this feels like when the first DVD tv shows hit and they were in the $100's. I think Lost (or any tv show, but lost is one of my must-haves) in HD would be worth about $40 tops.

I am wondering though: for those that are getting departed/300/etc on the cheap at BB, do you have HD players and just can't pass up this price? I know I wanted 300 2-Disc, and that is a damn good price, but I KNOW I'll be getting it in HD, so the eventual double dip made me hold off.

However, I did bite on Earl Season 1, as I don't know that I care about having it in HD, and for $18 that's a pretty good deal. I don't think I'd pay more than $20 for Earl on HD, and that will take forever for that price to hit.

Any word on a boxset of all three PotC? I have the first one only because it really kicks ass and that I got a free ticket with it to PotC2, so it basically paid for itself.

No boxset for next week.. yet. Dont worry, Itll come odds are.

But due to how well the two sold seperately, it might be a while. And odds are, id say 1/2 of blu ray owners have both POC, both are demo material.

So for them to release a box set this soon.. would be honestly stupid.

But dont worry.. POC at worlds end will be a big release.. expect some deals next week..

But if they release a box set ill let you know first -_-V

Season 3 is the first to be out on blu ray.

Depending on sales of it, the other two may follow. However, due to the show's dwindling popularity, dont expect it to be honest..

I like Lost, but the show is dwindling in popularity because they still haven't fucking answered anything to this day. I still haven't figured out what that creature thing from Season 1 was. Also, the writer's strike hasn't really helped much either.

Anybody here know if the save $5 offer applies for the 2-disc Live Free or Die Hard if you buy it with Rescue Dawn? If not, I'll risk the $3 and get them at Best Buy since I'm going over there for Mass Effect after class anyway.

Lost rant below.....

Not to mention that they keep killing popular characters off, the whole love triangle between Jack/Sawyer/Kate, that annoying main villian of The Others (which all on its own is dumb), even more flashbacks and now what is this... flashFORWARDS.........

No wonder why I threw the towel in during season 3.

On the other hand at least the writers of "Smallville" reportedly wrote the final episode (due to air on Feburary) prior to the strike as a season ender in case they don't get back to writing the rest of the season by then.

Apparently you never read the stories from it being one of the top shows to barely cracking the top 10 when it returned for season 3. Seriously.

Lost over half its viewership... and public outcry for the show to end has been amazing.. its been renewed until I think 2009/2010, but its doubtful itll make it that far..

With the crappy third season, the long waits in between, the constant crappy ass storylines.

Its no surprise.. they killed it..

I hope Season 4 is better though. Season 3 did seem pretty weak compared to the others.
