Alright title explains it all. Some freaky stuff happened to me tonite.
Ok. I'm sittin at my computer desk, chillin' and reading a website. All of a sudden I hear somthing hitting my window. I'm like ok maybe it's a big gigantic bug because my lamp is right by the window and somtimes bugs try to get to it and hit the glass. My back cat hears it too so she jumps up in the window to check it out. I think maybe my calico cat's up there swatting at the bugs outside, but she comes out of the kitchen and sits by my feet. So the black cat messes around for a few min or so and jumps back down. I call my fiance and tell him what's going on and he's like "call the cops" and I'm say "naw it's probably just some big bug or something." So I talk to him for a few more minuites about stuff and I look over and see my black cat in the floor by the window, and the calico's still by my feet. Then my mini blinds move like someone hit them from the back.
I'm trippin' out. I call the cops. I'm all paniced. The cops are asking me all sorts of stuff "do you see anyone?" I'm like "no i'm too scared to look." "Are you home alone?"
(Well duh! Else I wouldn't be calling you I'd just go outside with my fiance and who's ever ass that was out there messing with my window would be kicked. Then I'd be callin' you guys to come scoop him the hell up.) The cops even went as far as asking me if I needed an ambulance. (I found that funny, after the fact, because I was scared as hell. I guess they thought I was gonna have a heart attack or some junk)
So about 15 min later, three cops show up, one lady cop and two men cops. They look around then knock on my door then look around some more outside. They ask me about the noise I heard and I demonstrated how it sounded by knocking on my door. Only thing they could come up with is that the sprinklers were shooting water on my window and that's what caused it. They said that it was all wet outside and they didn't see any footprints where someone was standing.
Yet, my windows were dirty and dusty outside and not wet at all. I doubt water would dry that quick, and the dust would come back and stick to my window in that time.
I've lived here for six months and never heard or seen anything like that in my life. I can't explain how the blinds moved the window was closed when the cops got here and checked it out.
In the end I wound up apologizing to the cops like 20 times for dragging them out here over a sprinkler. (Which I don't think thats what it was but I didn't want to look any more like an Idiot.)
I'm sure the police think I'm some crazy woman, and I feel like such an ass.
