Weird incident w/ pictures
No, actually that's *EXACTLY* what you're asking, when you throw a topic such as this up. Not to mention, leaving out substantial, significant parts of the story in your original post. You specifically ask for advice from CAGs - well, here's the advice. Cut the bullshit. You left out critical information in your post, you opened this up to public scrutiny, and you gave negative feedback without so much as initiating contact with the guy.

YOU CLAIM YOU RECEIVED A PRODUCT NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE TERMS OF THE SALE, YET YOU DIDN'T CONTACT THE SELLER FIRST AND FOREMOST! Instead, the first action is negative feedback and this thread to stir shit up? Survey says: SKETCHY!!!
I like how you roll. :applause:
That was just an assumption and I never said it was a fact. You receive a poor copy instead of sealed new then your seller continuously assures you that he sent a new one. What would you think, then? That was my best guess.
If you suspected that the post office opened up your Priority Mail and that the seller is a good man and you didn't mean to attack him, then why did you leave negative feedback for the seller? Hmm? I think that your "best guess" was not a postal employee, but that the seller was duping you and you posted this thread for confirmation.

Seriously there are a lot of morons on this thread. THE POST OFFICE DID NOT SWITCH THE GAME.... And why would the OP lie about a $10 game condition when he has no buyer protection? Think before you speak, people!
EDIT: in regards to SEH's comments:

In regards to "doesn't matter if it's a $10 game, how would we like it if we received a game not as advertised" etc. - how would you all like it if you were the subject of fraudulent claims made against your person and the recipient of unwarranted negative feedback?

This is he said/she said. It's the OP's word against Tek's. Like I said, I just call 'em like I see 'em.
Oh, I never said I was taking sides, just kind of found it lame that all these people were jumping on the OP because he wanted a product as advertised. I'm not saying the OP is right and the seller is lying, or vice-versa, just that these same people jumping on the OP would have his same feelings if they were in his spot (assuming he's telling the truth).

Agreed with SEH.

That negative is completely deserved if the seller isn't doing anything to fix what happened. It is the seller's responsibility to make sure the item gets to the buyer in the condition described. If it gets damaged during shipping it is your fault, not the buyer's fault, and you should at least offer a refund of a few dollars for a new case to make it right even if it wasn't you who damaged the item.

I don't think either of them are trying to intentionally deceive each other though, but that doesn't make it not the seller's fault.
