Well... i got it... do you have yours? mmmm toutching really IS good!
Yeah, that 60 day think is 'yack'. First week game releases are considered LAUNCH TITLES. I know this cuz I was a sweet EB salesman in my early years!!! ha ha...

oh... and metroid sucks ass for DS... dont form and opinion of the DS on that demo at all
Well since this seems to be a failure, and mario is really the only successful launch title, do you think the 150 price tag is really worth it?
It's out today, and you call it a failure? There are is still 60 days for launch titles to come out.
sorry, but launch titles are titles that come out when the system does...
Wrong again buddy. Any title that comes out within the first 60 days after the DS launches is considered a launch title. Off the top of my head, Mr. Driller DS comes out next week and is considered a launch title.
Where are you getting this oddball 60 day rule from? I think most people here understand the term "launch title", and I've never heard anything like this before.

I've been touching mine all day :) I love it. I got it at 10 this morning and got SM64DS with it. It actually felt like the first time i played SM64, when i had to learn a whole new control scheme. Once i got used to it though, its a blast. The mini games and the first screen are a hoot (yes, a hoot).

I picked up Feel the Magic about an hour ago, and im quite impressed. Its a date sim meets Wario Ware meets Sonic Team. I put in my Sonic pinball GBA game and booted up XY/XX and i got her a "NiGHTS" hair-do :) The system itself feels very sturdy, and the touch screen is very easy to clean.

GBA games look great, and its nice hearing stero sound without headphones.

To me, this is well worth 150, and i cant wait for the other games down the road

You guys are all crazy! Everyone knows that any game released within 34 days of a system (if arrived by 10:00am on the third tuesday of the month) is considered a launch game (note: during leap year this is extended to 35 days as long as the delivery is made by an electric powered vehicle).

Got my DS this morning and REALLY like it. Mario 64 DS looks and plays great. It was one of my favorite games and I've been enjoying playing it again. I haven't played much of the extra content, but am looking forward to that, too. The Metroid demo is fun and I think it controls very well - I am excited for the future of FPS on this system! It's fun to see 3D work so well on a portable. Anyways, my $.02

yeah i love it, i would have paid $250 for it if i had to. I guess im in the minority but metroid is soooo cool it feels just awesom controling it on the defauld setup. Also using the touchscreen with mario 64 is better than people make it seem imo.

To add to me little review...

The thumb strap bit takes a while to get used to, but helps a LOT. If you use your right thumb to manuver on the screen, you can even leave it attached.

The clock/date is quite helpful, and it even has an alarm. The alarm sounds like it would wake you considering it keeps getting louder and louder, and doesnt sound horribly bad

The Metroid game is actually on its own cartridge, not in system memory...it comes in a crappier paper case, but it works.
Can you reassign the L and Rs from GBA titles to X and Y on the DS? That would make the GBA THPSs 1000 times better.
i dont think so... but that would be sweet!

WHAT?! I had some fun with the metroid demo. Granted it was rather limited, but this was the closest one can get to keyboard and mouse controls with using a real keybord and mouse.

I have to agree, however, Mario does indeed rock. Spider-Man 2 isn't too bad either, definatly under-rated.

This thing is great period. I am loving it and excited to see everyone elses responses.

Mine was partially charged I got maybe 2 hours out of it before the orange light kicked on and I put it to charge.

The wireless is great. and feel the magic is something to be expereienced and I would give it a very high score but have yet to finish it.

Spiderman 2 is a good game to it goes back tot he old double dragon type brawler in a real 3d world but as a sidescroller... like 2.5D as its referred.

I am fucking excited! Parents picked it up today and are giving it as a Christmas present to me. :D

People, give the DS and Nintendo a fucking break! I mean, it just came out and you guys are all over it. Give it a few months. Wait for a few more games come out. :D

I got mine this morning and I can’t believe how great it is, I have never enjoyed a game system as much I am enjoying the DS.

I might get it...but not anytime soon. I have about 3 GBA games and rarely play em.

The DS might suffer the same fate as the SP did. It will just sit there...
