yep. it's also especially annoying when you complete a square and the line is in the middle of it, and only clears half of it, if that makes any sense.

One thing that works for me: focus on keeping the # of bricks on the board as low as possible (instead of trying to create a big chain for a special block). When I started to actively focus on getting the single color bonus (1,000) and all clear bonus (10,000), my scores improved a lot. This is obviously easier to do at the beginning of the game.
 
oh my did anybody notice the trick in puzzle mode!

in order to clear a puzzle, the line only needs to touch the object, not pass thru the whole thing.

thus,

when u get to the double part of puzzle mode, drop the final block as the line is almost over your shape

that way when u go for the second time, u dont need to set up another shape, just add only a few blocks to your remainder!

pretty clean if I say so myself
 
update: I have almost everything unlocked now!

all time attacks, puzzle mode, and Vs mode defeated.

Im only missing two skins now,

the play 20 hour one

and the get 999,999 in challenge mode one.

seriously this game is getting boring now, I needa play vs 2P

freakin peteyrose I hope dat mothasucka would be the first to see how much I suck, set my win record to a good 100% start
