What About that COD 2 Download?

that sucks that it only fixes the single player, which I had no problem with. They should have taken care of the mp first.
 
Assuming that a patch is released for every game from now until the end of time (which is totally the path we are headed down) am I going to run out of room on my hard drive because it's filled with crap that should have been working properly upon a game's release?

no doubt. that should have been 1st priority.

possibly, though that would be if you owned every game and got patches for every game. With patches being so successful, the xbox system is going towards the way pc games are. Not finished but launched to meet release, and then fixed down the road if enough people complain about it.
 
I prefer to wait a little longer while the developer tweeks and perfects a game prior to release, rather then having a mediocre gaming experience and having to dl a bunch of little patches down the road.
 
At least the single player glitch had a solution to it that is accessable easily to everyone. The only real way to have a pretty much guarenteed lag free game online is through the system link or whatever glitch which not many know about.
 
the single player glitch is much more damaging than lag online, i think the got their priorities straight, i can't believe they didnt catch that during testing, that's a huge fuck up.

how bad is the single player glitch? It didn't affect my gameplay, was it something that affected a lot of players? Because the lag affects everyone that plays online.

Yeah, I'm playing through single player now with no issues... whats the glitch?
 
after you finish the russian campaign or the british i think, and if you hit continue mission it deletes all your progress, and send you back to training. Hence if someone had played it all through til that point on Veteran, they have to do it all over again. It seems like almost everybody I know personally experienced the glitch, which sucks...
