All I know of is CAG, gamefaqs, gamespot and then sites that are made by the respective companies of games... any other sites with alot of discussion about gaming (Wii and 360 mostly) going on?

Theres always Penny Arcade. There are two splinter forums that branched off PA after they shut down the console specific megathreads. One of them is 360Arcadians.net, which is getting quite large.

A smaller one that is supposed to be about gaming in general is platformers.net. However their base is very pro Nintendo.

Both sites have a podcast and forums.

I visit GR daily but the boards have been down for weeks now because Cnet's people are fixing something or another. I go to the back up boards now but not as frequently.

I've tried to like other forums, but CAG is the only one I regularly visit due to other forums being full of idiots. I like CAG because a lot of the posters are actually informed about what they are talking about.

Hot Asian Girl Thread XI all day
as much as I like that forum, the elitist level on it are through the roof.

Not a big board, but the main forum I am on is lcvg.com/forum. Has been around 5-6 years or so , and is all gamers 18+ in age who like to talk about games, and have fun without a lot of the crap on other boards all the time.
would this thread have anything to do with u getting banned from gamespot recently?;)
Why was he banned?

meh, I was going to register for HardForums but they don't accept Gmail for some stupid reason. Not worth it to go out of my way and find some web-based email service they do accept.

Well besides here, only gamefaqs if I need help with something. I like it here because not only are you guys smart, funny, and awesome but you also don't act like the 13 year old fanboys on just about every other forum. So yeah this is the only gaming place I can visit without being royally pissed off at assholes, lol.

It's totally worth it, it's an excellent forum - people there are intelligent, I have yet to see any thread devolve into flames and retorts as most of them do here, and the people there know their shit - I learned everything I know about overclocking from there.

I don't know why they don't accept Gmail, the only reason I can think of is because they are trying to somewhat filter who is coming in - I know it takes 24 - 48 hours before your registration gets approved to even post, and the mod's there don't take any crap.

Totally worth it if you like PC gaming (and PC's in general) at all, as they have a forum dedicated to each aspect of the PC.

I like CAG a lot, but our PC gaming forum is pretty much dead except for a 10 year old game.

Let's see,
Forums I usually post at:
Modojo (Main forum I post at)
Neo GAF (I did, but was banned for stupid reasons. Still lurk)
PlayStation Universe
PSXextreme
RPG Elite (until it closed)

Forums I'm signed up at, but rarely post
Altimit Corporation (.Hack)
Atlus Official Forum
Game Bunker
GameFAQs
Konami RPG All-Stars (or whatever the name is)
Namco Official Xenosaga Boards
NIS Official Forum
PSP Forums
PUGG
Purdue DDR Club
RPG Fan
RPGamer
Shoryuken (as Cloud Strife)
Slime Knights
Sony Protection Group
Team Xbox
Xboxaddict (use to post there a lot back in the day)
Xbox.com
Xenolegacy.com

I'm signed up at more forums, but can't remember all. I've signed up at 50+ forums in my lifetime. Most of them, I am "Mana Knight".

They've rejected every webmail client I've tried, Roufuss. Looks like an awesome forum, but I don't know what to do at this point.

I like 1up forums. There are a lot of young people on there but you can find a lot of cool gamers too.

I also go to Xbox Users Group sometimes.
