What are the best versions for the "Halloween" series of DVDs?

CAGiversary!
Another question about the best DVD printing/dip for a series with a gazillion double-triple dips. I think I've seen a ton of a different versions for every single movie out in this series. 1 and up.

And a side thought, is the Halloween 2/3 double feature an ok double feature or one of the screwed up ones where it says Widescreen but in fact should be Full Screen?

HALLOWEEN: 2 Disc Limited Edition (for picture and inclusion of Extended Television Edit)
HALLOWEEN: 25th Anniversary Divimax Edition (for extras only)
HALLOWEEN 2: Universal Home Video version (same one included on H2/H3 Double Feature--no full screen edition exists on DVD)
HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH: Universal Home Video version (same one included on H2/H3 Double Feature--no full screen edition exists on DVD)
HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS: Divimax Series Special Edition
HALLOWEEN 5: Divimax Series Special Edition
HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS: Dimension Home Video Version (sadly, the only existing version in R1; it is non-anamorphic and out-of-print)
HALLOWEEN H20: TWENTY YEARS LATER: Dimension Home Video Version (sadly, the only existing version in R1; it is non-anamorphic)
HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION: Dimension Home Video Version (the only existing version in R1)
HALLOWEEN [2007]: Pending theatrical version and unrated version releases on Dec. 18

Thanks Filmmaker.

Everytime I did a search for the best versions of the Halloween series on DVD I kept getting back the best horror films on DVD or the best Halloween themed movies on DVD and not what I want.

Any idea where you can find HALLOWEEN: 2 Disc Limited Edition (for picture and inclusion of Extended Television Edit)? Is it still in print?

Thanks for this bit of info. I decided to buy the Halloween 2/3 double feature and am glad to know that it's the same as the single editions of the each movie. I could have bought H 2/3 separate in their own indvidual DVD cases, but decided against it when I saw that it came out to be $5.

i would hold out on buying Halloween 6, there is a bootleg producers cut out there, which is supposedly superior, though not used since the guy who played Loomis in real life died. I doubt it will ever be released on dvd, but it couldnt hurt to get the boot to see the true story.

I thought the OOP tins for each movie were the best ones to have? Not sure how the movies on the disks are but the tins are nice.

Oh, they're long gone...I'd suggest eBay or Amazon Marketplace as your best bet.

Wrong; the tins for 4 and 5 are nice, and I own them with pride, but the later Divimax releases are superior for both presentation and extras.

There is a Limited Edition Tin for H5? I own the H4 ...didn't know a tin version of H5 existed.
