I am eyeing the deadwood season 2. that is really the only thing that i would want, maybe some of the homicide life in the streets seasons.

I remember last time they ran this sale, they jacked the prices up on a lot of the box sets so i didnt buy anything. The DDD 20% sale really only makes sense for the higher priced items that never seem to go on sale(like the boxsets). It is too easy to buy used dvds for next to nothing either at pawnshops or off of ebay

I'd expect about the same this year.

Yes, I'm serious. It all depends on whether or not ADV will cooperate with DDD. Last year, I remember the stuff was up for maybe the first hour of the deal, which I thought I would just pick them up at the end of the deal to space out my orders, but it turned out that they were slowly removing their listings from the site. Some people managed to call in and place their orders that way, while others were shot down. It's my best guess that ADV probably will not be apart of this sale, but at the moment it is still speculation as I do not have precognitive powers (I wish I did though);)

Actually, I think the only time the site got bogged down was on the first and last days. Otherwise it was relatively painless and the site managed to run well.
 
I hope it starts in the next couple weeks. I want to get Dazed & Confused:Criterion Collection since no Best Buy around me carries it for some raeson. OOS at all stores (or they never got them)

I have just read that since Dic has lost their rights to Saint Seiya ADV has too, since their licensing deal was tied together. So you might have to go to other sources if you want the rest of this series. There is always the chance they will re-aquire the rights though.

man thas gonna suck for you if ADV chooses not to partake in the 20% off sale :( and i know its gonna suck for me too cuz there are a lot of complete collections i want that are all ADV :(
 
nothing for me i guess, these are not cheap enough yet, the deadwood season 2 will be cheaper later. but it is tempting
