What are your anticipated RPG's for the rest of 2006?

I think from this month to the end of the year the number of quality RPG's across all systems might be unrivaled than in any recent years. So which ones are you looking forward to? Personally I can't wait for Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, Rogue Galaxy, Final Fantasy 12, and Phantasy Star Universe. Personally, I think Rogue Galaxy is looking like it could be one of the best RPGs this winter.

I'm not a huge fan of RPGs but Valkyrie Profile 2 is definetly on my radar. I was pretty impressed with the FFXII demo but since Final Fantasy games always drop in price sooner or later I'll probably be waiting for it.

Contact, Children of Mana, FFIII, Summon Night 2, FFV. There are more on my list of preordered or to-be-preordered, but those are the biggies.

Preordered:

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria ($30)
Disgaea 2
Tales of the Abyss ($20)
Final Fantasy XII CE

Definitely getting at release:

Xenosaga III
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy V
Rogue Galaxy (assuming it's not delayed)
Children of Mana

Maybe getting:
Phantasy Star Universe... depends on how good the single player is though.

I'm not a big graphicse whore, but I was surprised to see how straight out fugly Valkyrie Profile 2 looked. I want:

Disgaea 2 (tommorrow)
Dawn of Mana
Rogue Galaxy

Rogue Galaxy got delayed until January I believe...

I've got VP2, and FF12 preordered.

I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect the most, but I doubt it's coming out this year and it isn't your traditional RPG.

Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy III, Phantasy Star Universe and Contact, in that order. I am looking forward to Enchanted Arms this week.

Disgaea 2
FF XII
Valkyrie Profile 2
Xenosaga III
Phantasy Star Universe (do you have to pay a monthly fee for the online Hunter's license like the PC and DC versions?)

All RPG's if not most RPG games released for the current systems is FUBAR beyond belief. RPG games is not about graphics at all. It's about representation and detail thru explaination then again the orginal idea of any RPG is to role play. The only RPG I would like to play is something new and diffrent.

I have the following preordered, in order of release date:

Disgaea 2
Mage Knight (Ok, probably not really an RPG)
Contact
Magical Starsign
Phantasy Star Universe (meh, sub fees - will probably switch)
Children of Mana
Final Fantasy XII
Lunar Knights
Zelda Twilight Princess (yeah, no RPG but it will be a time-stealer like one)
Final Fantasy III
Rogue Galaxy

I will definitely be adding Tales of the Abyss to that list as it looks like it is retailing for only $30!

Others I'm interested in:
Summon Night 2
FF V
Yggdra Union

I'm going to pass on Valkyrie Profile 2 (even though I just played Lenneth and liked it), Xeno III (haven't played the other 2 yet) for now, and Baten Kaitos Origins (paid $29.99 for the first, then saw it for $3 at Kmart and haven't played it yet). I will definitely get those later, but I'm going to take my chances on getting them cheaper down the road. As it is, I probably won't get to half of the ones I've already preordered before they are on clearance somewhere for $8.96 . I really should probably wait on FF XII as well (as I have never played a FF game before) but I have the LE preordered - yeah, GS will probably have tons of them, but I don't want to miss it if not.

I am finishing Tales of Legendia right now and might actually start Disgaea 2 this weekend or next. I've never played the first but I feel if I don't start this one now it will get put on the back burner forever. With Disgaea coming to the PSP that gives me the excuse to wait on that one (and just play 2 first).

I'll probably start into Contact as soon as it comes out as I haven't played my DS much recently. Also, I'll probably start FF III. As my work travel ramps back up again I might end up having a great deal of time for these DS RPG's, so that's one good aspect of it anyway .

BUT, I agree with the main point of the OP, there is a wealth of RPG's coming out in such a short period! I'm fairly new to console/handheld RPG's - is this unprecendented?

Valkyrie Profile 2 only because I preordered it for $20 thanks to the Overstock glitch.

Disgaea 2 due to all the bonuses from NIS.

FFXII which I preordered for the Collectors Edition.

Some Atlus GBA games like Super Robot Taisen OG 2 and Yggdra Union.

That's it, everything else will get lost in the holiday shuffle and the new systems / games and will be clearanced by early 2007. It's stupid to release so many RPG's back to back against each other... I expect some awesome clearance sales in the coming months.

Valkyrie Profile 2 only because I preordered it for $20 thanks to the Overstock glitch, but I would have paid $50 for it anyways... an RPG that breaks away from the norm in both story and gameplay is always worth full price.

FFXII which I preordered for the Collectors Edition.

Some Atlus GBA games like Super Robot Taisen OG 2 and Yggdra Union. (Notice a trend? I've gotten sick of the generic cookie cutter RPG that is flooding the market)

Maybe FF 3 and FF V, but I'll just wait for FF V to get cheap and clearanced relatively fast like FF IV did. FF 3 for sure at launch because I only played about half of the rom back in the day and it was good.

Final Fantasy XII
Final Fantasy III
Rogue Galaxy
Dungeons and Dragons Tactics (I don't even own a PSP)
and maybe Tales of Abyss

Edit:
Project Exile
Gothic 3
Two Worlds

VP2 and SRW OG2 definitely. Maybe Tales of Abyss and FFXII if I have the time and moeny. Probably FFIII as well since I'll be looking for a DS RPG.
