ive been watching alot of mst recently, and im curious what everyone else thinks are the best episodes, since there are roughly 50 episodes ive never seen.

my favorites include (but are not limited to)
Attack of the the eye creatures
teenagers from outer space
robot monster
soultaker (zepplin was wrong man!!)
time chasers
overdrawn at the memory bank
the horror of party beach
both godzilla movies
and any sandy frank movie

how about you guys?

im watching teenagers right now and thought this riff was hilarious, the antagonist was saying something like "we have the supreme weapon, we are the supreme race!" and joel goes "please, turn rush limbaugh off"

^^

In no particular order:
Space Mutiny
Time Chasers
Devil Doll
Final Sacrifice
Final Justice
Track of the Moon Beast
Puma Man

The funniest, in my opinion, was TIME CHASERS.

SPACE MUTINY

TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE

HELLCATS

BOGGY CREEK 2

I love them all!

Oh, and a special mention to THE GIRL IN GOLD BOOTS.

mst3k is the greatest show evar!!11!

Manos: Hands of Fate
The Final Sacrifice
Squirm
Puma Man
Invasion of the Neptune Men
Parts: The Clonus Horror
The Giant Spider Invasion

Those are just a few favorites. I love every episode of that show ever.

i agree, squirm is a rather standard episode, but the short is up there with the one where the angel and devil make a bet on the breadmaker, and some others i just cant recall at the moment ^^

Along with Manos, I'd have to go with Side Hackers. Was that even a real "sport" or just made up for the movie?

Funny an MSTK thread should come up as I was going to buy some of the new DVD volumes that came out... Anyone know if all the epsides ever got released to DVD? Seems like every few years they put a few out but was looking to get the whole series if possible.

the series will never see a commercial release. BBI has lost the rights to most movies in the series and at this point could not even broadcast re-runs of most episodes.

the only way to get them is through tape trading (i have about 130 on tape i believe) or on torrents (im currently working on this)

there are people that have transfered A quality tapes onto DVD's, that is as close as youll ever get to what youre looking for.

My alltime favorites are Puma Man, Jack Frost and This Island Earth (the MST3K movie). A few more of the best are Prince of Space, Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders, the Girl in the Golden Boots and The Creeping Terror, which gets my nomination for worst 'monster' design.

It's not nearly the same, but I heard rumors that Rhino was considering releasing the commentaries on CD as a way to get around the copyright issues.

But then again, those were just rumors.

How well are the torrents working for you, punq?

"You'll be the first to die!"

I loved that short. The one that ran in front of Manos was hilarious too...

"And don't ever forget...I love you."

God...I need to watch some MST3K, right now.

the torrents are going ok, i can get between 3-5 episodes per day depending on the speed, sometimes they lag up if the seeders drop, there are never more than 1-3 seeders, but im at college and dont have my tape collection with me, but i can keep them all on cd alot easier =o)

my friend and i riffed a local wrestling show once, not in shadowrama, just talking behind a camera, but its DAMN funny.
