I couldn't possibly agree with this less. If I'm understanding your point correctly, we'd just end up with Rock Band: This is the Shit They Play on the Radio Edition.
I think the culture of new music discovery that rhythm games have created is the most exciting part of this whole damn thing.
If RB came pre-loaded with "safe" music I strongly suspect that many of us wouldn't give a
about it.
