don't know...all i know is that i had braces from 5th to 8th grade and it was bullshit...from sucking my thumb til a late age, yeah i know
, my two middle bottom teeth for slighty curved inward.......i had braces for 3 years to fix this and that was back when you were supposed to wear the full-on head-gear....i wore it maybe 15 times throughout the 3 years....for some reason, even though the only flaws in my mouth were the bottom two teeth, i had braces on my upper and bottom teeth....and the head-gear only strapped into the top teeth.....when all was said and done, the braces came off and
ed my teeth up more than they fixed them.....some teeth were cracked, most were stained, a lot of discoloring, and the top two teeth curved inward.....ive been working on getting them fixed for the past year now, with an appt on average, every 2 weeks....it has cost me probably around $5,000 so far and the next step is crowning a few and then popping some veneers on the rest of the screwed-up teeth that are visible when i smile....
given the technology that is available now, id say go for it....though im regretting every second of it right now....if you dont get them now, whats the worse that could happen? you might need them later...when technology advances even higher....ive heard of people getting them on and off within 6 months now...crazy
