I've played the various non Mario branded versions of that game before

I've even played the pen and paper version

That game is based around a specific type of Japanese logic puzzle and you can pick up a whole book of them at the supermarket for between four dollars and 7 dollars

If you want, I can get you the address of where to order of them.......
 
but pen and paper version shouldn't be as fun as the gameboy version though.

I just wish they come out with colored version of Mario's Picross.. I just love this game! If you know where to get Picross 2 for GB, let me know!
