1999 Toyota RAV4 -> Good for Newfoundlands and home fix-it projects. Sux for going up hills.

1999 Infinity G20 -> Good for everything else.

97' Wrangler - 31' super swampers still 22 mpg though! 125,000 miles

94' S-10 - Currently under the knife with the V8 transplant

90' Cav = BEAST! (Work car, but she is a BEAST!) 157,000 miles

04' Mitsu Spyder - (Really not that impressed with it)

Damn I got to many cars....
Is this for real? I don't even get 20.
Air Filter, Plugs, Plug Wires, Tire pressure, Tire Size, manual or auto, Average MPH, Engine Size, oil viscosity, Gas type and even octane (Dependant on altitude) etc all play a role remember that.

I was reading the manual for my dad's 94 Cherokee. It has the same engine 4.0L 6-cylinder inline as my Wrangler. Supposedly it gets 16mpg city 18mpg highway.
I assumed my Jeep gets the same.

Snake, you seem to know about cars.
Would you recomend this air filter?

Once they are installed they are left in the open. They aren't covered.

I have the 2.5 manual with a cold air intake, after market plug wires and the good plugs. Plus I run Mobil 1, and I keep my foot out of it. The main thing that helped (besides not having the inline 4.0) was getting rid of that stock air box, it is very restrictive, but if you do alot of water crossing, then don't change the stock "snorkel" box.
2005 Honda Element 4WD EX. In sunset orange pearl. or 'that reddish orange color'.

Not mine, mine doesn't have the roof rack, but still.

Element as well. Used to have the orange, but got tired of being noticed. Went to the grey. Awesome ride.

2003 Toyota Corolla..nice car and all but I've come to realize that manual sucks in traffic and I live in the burbs of DC...yeah. sellin it soon and getting something else. I want a truck but I don't know if that'll happen or not.

I wish it was nothing.

Unfortunately, I do own a car and it is a 1999 Nissan Altima Special Edition.

I have no idea what makes it Special. Maybe someone who know more about cars will inform me.

When it dies, I hope I won't have to get anything and can just bike.

Gas, insurance, up front cost, maintenance. It's not worth it and I hate it.

When I'm home I drive a 2003 Civic with a manual transmission. I also live in the DC 'burbs, VA side though and I've never had that much of a problem using manual in traffic
2003 Mazda 6 V6 - I love this car, I'd buy another one without question.

Well do you get smog tested? If not don't worry about DOT certified and go with MAC. Its better than K&N. They make them for jeeps check to see if they have one for you:

http://www.macperformance.com/store/productsnew.cfm

And I will give you some warning when it gets time to clean and re-oil be careful to much oil can cause your Mass airflow sensor to get dirty and reduce your mileage considerably. It happens a lot when people re-oil them any of these open air filters (mac, K&N etc)
I bought my new car a little over a month ago. It's a 2006 Pontiac G6 GT.

You have a Newfoundland? I was thinking about getting a RAV4 but did not know if it would fit mine or not...

The escape is pretty highly rated and inexpensive to boot. It would tear the Rav4 apart in the acceleration department. Its a damn peppy little SUV and I am a fan of Toyota's. I just couldn't drive the Rav4 around its a bit to feminine and just doesn't have enough power to tow a boat or quads

Really fun car, it's my first car and I'm glad I didn't go with a JDM or USDM car.
