What do you prefer: McDonald's, or Burger King?

I like the idea of flame-broiling over the traditional grilling techniques. Then again, most of the nutritional experts consulted in the academy award winning film Supersize Me agreed that you should never eat fast food. If any of the fast food joints really cared about your health, wouldn't they just close permanently?

Agreed on the prices, but you still think that McD's fries are better than BK's? I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but when BK introduced their new fries a few years ago I haven't turned back. I think they're the best of the big 3 in the fry category.

Wendies also redid their fries a few years ago, and they're pretty good now. They used to be big thick planks which sucked hard, but they're good now.
 
i usually stick with subway (either a veggie or a chicken sub) sometimes ill eat at bk or wendys, very rarley mcdonalds, i live in the city though, theres MUCH better food you can get (though equally unhealthy) for the same price or even cheaper than fast food joints, so i rarely go to chains (except subway
 
Haven't you people watched Super-Size Me? I'm totally staying away from fast food until the television tells me it's ok to eat it again.
 
Whopper all the way, but McDonalds fries are the shit!!!

If only they could combine the two then take McDonalds yogurt parfait, i would be in fast food heaven!!!
 
BK right now for the Star Wars toys, Mc Donalds when they have the Disney toys.

i eat at mickey d's once every few months... mainly for saving money, and not for health reasons hehe.
 
Burger King among the two. I've had terrible experiences with McDonald's food, and haven't ate anything from there in over ten years.

I prefered the big thick planks. They were like steak fries. One of the things that set them apart.

and even with the new recipie for BK fries they still aren't all that. The biggest problem with the old fries were that they were soggy. Now the new fries are too crispy.
 
Burger King, I prefer the flame broiled Whoppers over McD's Big Macs any day of the week. Plus I think BK's chicken tenders are a lot better than McD's chicken nuggets(they actually taste like meat).

I don't get it. BK microwaves their patties, they have that nuked taste instead of that of "flame broiled".

I've never eaten at a fast food place where the chicken tastes real. I'm tired of that same taste. I wanna kill my own chicken and then bring it to them so they can prepare it, just to see if it is real chicken. Either it's fake or they're pissing on the food before they serve it.

Yeah, I remember when BK redid their fries. They added some kind of ingredient to keep them crispy, even when they get cold. They don't get soggy, which is great. I like the BK fries a lot (I call them chemical fries, because of the additive they added to improve the fries). Of course, McDonald's always has great fries, since they toss them out every 5 minutes to keep them fresh.

However, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with battered fries (like Popeye's) or curly fries. Awesome stuff.

Out of burgers, I enjoy Burger King more. Either the Whopper or the Double Cheeseburgers (when either go on sale, it's great). Whenever I get a McDonald's burger, I either get a Quarter Pounder, or their $1 hamburger/cheeseburger.

Hmm... I'm getting a bit hungry.
 
Whopper > Big Mac
O Rings > Fries
But I do like the double qt. pounder with cheese and lettuce and tomato.. yum.. I work at Applebee's so I get some decent burgers with fries for like $4... (or free if I feel like cooking myself)
 
if you think McDonald's actually serves things that are edible, you mustve slowly built a tolerance to that garbage throughout childhood. I got sick the last 3 times I was there, on completely differen occasions.
 
I used to prefer Burger King, then they did two things to drive me away.

1. Chicken Fries. God-awful. I fear knowing what part of the chicken they come from.

2. The new plastic-headed burger king mascot scares the living bejesus out of me. I find him scarier than a motorcycle gang of ninja clown nuns, rulers brandished and ready to teach me what a naughty boy I've been...

Ahem...

Anyway, seriously - seen the commercial where the guy wakes up next to the BK? Rather have the horse head, thank you!

So now, I'd have to vote Wendy's although in my area lately they have had the absolute bottom feeders in the fast food employee pool working the register. Could be worse, I guess. They could be making the food!

Its way better. It takes a little longer because they make it when you order but the meat is so much better.
