From the trailer it looks like it can be a decent series. Like a buffy or something. This will fail horribly as a movie.
 
It's official. Uwe Boll hates video games. There's no way in the world that he is avoiding what is being said. Critics obviously hate his crap. He has to hear what they are saying. Is it possible that he is avoiding every comment every gamer has ever made? I don't think you can read a paragraph in a game magazine with the obligatory "Uwe Boll sucks" riff.

It's like he's doing it out of spite. Pure, hateful, evil, sinister spite.

"What? These video games are being optioned for movies? I must have them! Those damn gamers! I'll never let them have a decent video games movie ever again! Of course a sluttly half-naked female vampire and lots of violence and matrix-y effects would make a great movie! I know! I'll do the exact opposite! And what's more, I'll taunt them. I'll take that smokin' chick from T3 so that they'll get their hopes up, and then I'll Uwe her so she's merely meh! Genius Uwe Boll, Genius!"
 
I take this the same way I do with most of the other video game movies out there (especially any Uwe Boll flick):

If I like the games, I enjoy them and try to forgot about how franchise got raped in the movie(s).

In the case of Kirby and Mega Man, replace "movie" with "TV show".

Somebody should beat Ben Kingsley in the face, and tell him to stop acting in shit movies, he is a terrific actor...

and Micheal Madsen...cmon Tarentino's the only director you should ever work with
