what game with phatom dust MIR?

What exactly is the "MIR" (Mail in Rebate) and how do you get it? I bought the game from Gamestop online and havent opened it yet.

you have to preorder the game to get it.
 
My birthday's on the 24th, so I'm hoping to get a few bucks and combine it with my $20 rebate to get Jade Empire or Mercenaries...

UPDATE 5.16:
got MechAssault 2 (po) for $5 with my $20 coupon.

Ended up getting Jade Empire at Wal-mart for $41 after my wife's employee discount.

I never would have bothered with the game without the MIR but now I bought my brother one so we can play on Live. That game has me more addicted than any game has since Wolfenstein.
 
I finally got my own Katamari Damacy, so I can give my fiend back his :) I also had to order Kinetica, cuz KD was only 19.99, and the coupon code email I got said I needed to have over a 20.00 cart, and they were out of fuzzy dice.

Did you try to order it with just KD in the cart? I was under the impression that you just forfitted what was left if it was
 
Damn, so they won't let you just get something that's $19.99 with the code. This code just keeps getting better...

why not wait till minna daisuki katamari damacy comes out (or katamari 2). it'll come out sometime b4 the coupon expires hopefully (august). then add a cheapo item along with it (if the game will cost about 19.99 when it comes out) to make it get over 20.00. that's what i'm waiting on, unless they have another good deal. ;)

I'm going wait for a good pre-order deal comes along (maybe a big game with an overnight shipping deal). I would get Fire Emblem (the new one coming out next month), but they don't have the in-store pickup option...

I want to get this, but EB is having a $10 rebate on it starting Friday . . . and I have credit there.

I think the $20 part means that if you only spend $10, you lose the other $10.

I have to give it more thought . . . but I did get my code.
 
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe is an intriguing option. I'll have to mull that over.

I just tried fiddling with the code and when you input the code it lets it go in with a $19.99 game in your cart, but says the $20 will come off at check out and mentions all of the same exclusions mentioned in the e-mail (cart must be $20, no bundles, etc.) So I really don't know if it would actually work on a $19.99 game as I didn't feel like going all the way through checkout to test it. What a pain.
 
those dice are like 1.25 cubic inch. somewhere around there.

guess i'll have to wait for donkey konga 2, if they will even sell it game only on the site.
gamestop has a sorry selection of games new and used.

Actually Super Moneky Ball Deluxe is $30 w/ a $10 voucher at EB now. I may hold on to it for a bit longer.
 
I forgot to send it in. Yeah im a dumbass.....I hate MIR. I didnt even like the game. I didn think it was going to be a card game type game. Its still sealed.
 
I did end up getting SMB DX. Pretty neat game, although it's starting to get pretty hard.

Has some fun multi-player. Just the standard competition mode where you choose a couple boards and race against a few friends at the same time is probably my favorite so far.
 
i dont like the game either but i sent the MIR the day i got it

i bought an xbox hd pack
and ordered a backorder item
wrote an email to cancel the back ordered item once my hd pack shipped
so it was 2$ shipping only
 
i just bought donkey konga 2 without bongos. came out to like 23 bucks shipped. i have atournament to win at gamecrazy, i got second place last time and won a dk chair and another set of bongos.
