There was a price error at all CC having all PH, PC, and GH games ring up at 2 for $10. Theres a pretty big thread on it in this same section of the forum. Look at it for exact details.

EDIT: Just so alot of you can know, the Corporate Office DOES KNOW about this mistake and will be most likely correcting the price tonight, so I'll doubt the mistake will still be around tomorrow.
 
I probably won't try it until tomorrow. I plan on picking up the Tom Clancy Classic Trilogy if it works, Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Collection(If it works), and Animal Crossing. $5 Memory Card 59 and the game. Can't beat that.

I ended up just getting AC and SMS. I'll try the others tomorrow. I didn't want my managers to see me so I just grabbed these two and since my friend wasn't working I just found an employee I didn't really know and just told him to ring me out fast with no employee discount. I just wanted to make sure I got my $5 games. :D
 
The better question will be "How many new threads did you start about the CC sale?"

there was an apparent 'power outage' at my CC around 3pm when i got there. not all power was out though. i think they used that opportunity to reset/reboot their machines with the price correction.

Top Spin (been wanting all year!)
Rising Sun (not a great deal but I needed an extra fast)

none of the Xbox games have the platinum hits logos or silver cases!

Really? I just presumed the sale only applied to the Greatest Hits/Platinum Hits/Player's Choice games? Did the Xbox games ring-up individually at $4.99 each? Or did the games only ring-up on sale, after two games at the register?...

You buy two $19.99 games (the ones I got are PH games but the branded packages haven't caught up with my CC???) they add the promo code and presto, the computer rings the games up as $4.99 each. Then either you pay or the clerk adjusts the total to $30 (YLMV your luck may vary).

Same for me -- just wouldn't feel right. I have yet to use any TARGET raincheck "deal" as well. [-X

Got Sly Cooper and Jak 2. Didn't want to get greedy.

I totally forgot to look for DW4, I've been wanting to get a copy of that. I might actually just go back and pick up 2 more games for $15 each. It would still be a deal - 4 games for $40.
 
The deal worked for any $20 games. Heck, individual titles rung up at $4.99 for me if you applied the package before adding the two items.

No luck in Columbus, OH, last night. The games didn't even ring up at 4.99, as I was watching the monitor with my fingers crossed. It rang up as 15.00 on it's own, and the cashier didn't even have to change it.

Actually the worker did not have to fuck up... They just ring your order up like normal.

The corporate pricing was wrong that was all.
