just ordered my fourth wireless controller, so naturally I'm curious as to how many games have local offline 4-player modes. I'll just list what I know so far... [EDIT: updated with the info people have posted]

360
Burger King: Big Bumpin'
Burger King: Pocketbike Racer
Call of Duty 2
Dead Or Alive 4
Far Cry
FIFA '07
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
NBA 2k7
Perfect Dark Zero
WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007

XBLA
Small Arms

Backward Compatible XBOX
Dead or Alive Ultimate
Dead or Alive 3
Deathrow
Doom 3 Collector's Edition (classic Doom has multiplayer)
Fuzion Frenzy
Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows
Halo
Halo 2
Quantum Redshift
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe

Xbox - Super Monkey Ball DX

It's a royal pain to find though (I'm still looking!). I really wish I hadn't sold my copy. =(

Gee Busta... have we met before??

Anyway, Perfect Dark Zero, Dead Or Alive 4, Pocketbike Racer, and WWE SvR 2007 are all 4 players Local.
On XBLA, I think just Small Arms.

And Super Monkey Ball DX rules all!!!

Just played hours upon hours of 4 player gaming yesterday

Small Arms
NBA 2k7(2vs2 street :p)
Marvel
Call of Duty 2
Perfect Dark
Smackdown vs Raw 2007

NBA Street 1, 2 & 3 and NFL Street 1 & 2 are all four-player games, but I recommend NBA Street 3 over all of them easily. That game is amazing. Too bad they tossed the character creation mode from NBA Street 2, though.

Also...

:xbox::360:Far Cry: Instincts, Predator, etc. (The multiplayer is absolutely. identical. to Halo 2 - complete with ripoff announcer - except in a jungle setting)
:xbox::360:GRAW (and most Tom Clancy games excluding Vegas)
:xbox:Deathrow (fun "Ultimate Frisbee" game from the launch window with brutal fighting)
:xbox:Def Jam: Vendetta, Fight for NY (NOT BC)
:xbox:Hunter: The Reckoning (NOT BC)
:xbox:NHL Hitz
:xbox:Arena Football (NOT BC)
:xbox:NFL Blitz
:xbox:Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict (GREAT Unreal game, NOT BC)
:xbox:Timesplitters/2/Future Perfect (NOT BC)

EDIT: My bad, compiled this list without checking backwards compatability.
why the hell is halo 2 on here and the original halo isnt?
Because I forgot to write it.

Thanks guys I'll add some more updates to the list!

Are these all BC? I can't find Unreal Championship or TimeSplitters on the official BC list.

oh I guess I should add Gauntlet Seven Sorrows from the new update. What about XBLA Gauntlet... I would assume that one has offline 4-player, right?

You know, I forgot to check that out first. Sorry about that! You'd be safe picking up either of those, though; they are only around $5 each (UC2 is DEFINITELY only $5 at Best Buy or Amazon), and Timesplitters 2 is under $10 anywhere, so pick them up and hold on to them for when the next BC update comes around.
