What happened to Bioshock 2 Special Edition for PC?

So what happened to Bioshock 2 Special Edition for PC? Did it mostly sell out already, even before launch? I noticed Amazon.com has had it missing for a while, with only the option to "sign up to be notified when it is available."

my suggestion would be to hit up Best Buy asap, like at opening. You should be able to score one before lunch if not many people go.

AVOID gamestop, at least for today. It will be a waste, you'll get all excited b/c you see them on the back counter, but those are for pre-orders. Check back there Thursday to see if there are any left, then they should be able to sell them b/c maybe some people didn't pick up.

I also think Target wouldn't be worth it either. So pretty much BB or bust!!

Thanks. I also found that both Newegg and GoGamer have it, but I decided I really only want the art book. So I got the book on eBay for $25, which seems like a reasonable price. Now to get the game itself...

i think you mean the uber edition, it was cancelled after the big daddy ruined the 2k offices, the video is available here:
