CAGiversary!
Looking at getting a laptop and only need it for tghe internet and playing WOW.

Below are some cards and the price next to it are the prices for the laptops themselves. Is it worth shelling out more $ to get a better card just for WOW?

($799.99) Dell Studio 15.6"
256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

($789.00) Sony Vaio CW 14"
NVIDIA GeForce G210M

($329.99) Acer Aspire 15.6"
ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics

(599.99) Gateway 17.3"
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

You need to be single, and live with your parents.

As a former hardcore WoW player i can say that game consumes souls/lives/relationships

Although it is fun

Laptop wise, most laptops will run it the better the video card/processor more fps per second.

Well now this is strange. So you're saying the better my computer, the better the game will run? BLASPHEMY!

I kid, I kid

Hmm i think everybody covered the "standard" responces to WoW players (most who replied probebly did it on patch Tuesday :) ) All the ones you listed will play it pretty well. the Intel will be the low man on the list so some details will need to be turned off and Northrend may be a little chuggy but it will play. Of course this all depends on memory. WoW will play with less then a 1g but it will be ugly. 2 gb is best and most of the video cards you listed will be useing some of that memory too.. So most any of them will play it if they ahve 2 gb memory. basicly the price dictates (like most things) how good. WoW is pretty old school graphics wise so it plays on most modern stuff well, even laptops.
