Now that all the major ads have come out for Black Friday, what is on your Black Friday shopping list? Are you planning to go to any stores or hope that Amazon matches what you want? Or are you going to be too full of Thanksgiving dinner to get up and do anything?

My list doesn't have many video games on it because of MW2 being out and I have a decent backlog but here it is:

Walmart around 5 AM
Harry Potter 1-5 Blurays - $10 each
My GF may want the Cricut Expressions Electronic Cutter - $188 (I wonder what the demand for this will be)
$2 DVDs because I'm a sucker for dirt cheap DVDs

Price match BB for:
I Am Legend BR - 8
Forgetting Sarah Marshall DVD - $4 (if its not a $2 movie)
Zach and Miri Make a Porno DVD - $4

Price match Target for:
House S4 - $13
Shawn White Snowboarding 360 - $7

Then go to Target later before work to check out what $4 DVDs they have and get SWS if Walmart doesn't have it.

So what is your plan?

Hopefully I'll get these:

Used DS lLite from GS for $60
GTA IV walmart $10
Digital frame- ?
and some games from holly wood video

I'm just hoping amazon matches or beats everyone else, which is what I'm expecting them to do. Then I'll just go to town at midnight and not have to bother going out and dealing with the nutcases and douchebags.

Hopefully they'll have a sale on high end, larger LCDs too...

Videogames not so much.

My list of items I want to get:
52 inch Sony LCD tv at Fry's.
A better camcorder
A laptop
200+ mechanic piece Craftman tool (its on the Sears Black Friday ad)

Thats about all I can think of at the moment.

Maybe check out Old Navy and see if I can snag Lego Rock Band for $20. Otherwise, I'm waiting fro Amazon and I'll hit up GS B2G1 for 10 or so dirt cheap PS2 RPGs.

I'm hunting for another LCD this year. I may pick up a wii game or 2. Really interested in snagging another LCD though.

Well, I'm interested in the Harry Potter Blu-rays, but my big thing is Newegg. I'm gonna be watching them closely. I'm in the market for a quad-core processor to upgrade my desktop with, and I'm hoping for a decent sale.

Dragon Age for $35 is the only thing that's really on my list. And Harry Potter HBP bluray listed at Walmart for $10, but it doesn't come out till after black friday, so not sure if it's a mistake or a raincheck or preorder or what.

Other than that, GF wants Bones, Lie to Me, and Castle, none of which are listed for any store yet.

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots at Target for $10, A few cheap DVDs for myself and others, and then to GS to pick up some B2G1 games for the PS3 I'm getting that day.

Nintendo Wii:

Pikmin Classic $15 Best Buy

Rayman Raving Rabbids $10 Best Buy

Playstation 3:

The Godfather II $10 Wal*Mart

Resident Evil 5 $20 Best Buy

XBOX 360:

Left 4 Dead 2 $35 Best Buy (doorbuster)

Batman Arkham Asylum $37 Target

DVD/Blu-Ray Movies:

Madagascar 2 dvd $5 Wal*Mart

I am Legend Blu-Ray $9 Target

Dark Knight DVD $4 Target (doorbuster)

Wizard of OZ Blu-Ray $13 Target

I am Legend DVD $2 Wal*Mart

Kung Fu Panda $5 Wal*Mart

Also might get New Super Mario Bros & Resident Evil the Darkside Chronicles.

Gonna get the Lego Rock Band for $20. Don't care for the game, but hell, I could just sell the game.

Other than that, not much, since I'm saving for a PS3, and don't have enough to buy these bundles.

Unless Amazon has anything worth buying I don't think I'll have anything on my list due to inability to go out and buy anything(I'll be one of the poor souls working at Toys R Us that day). Maybe see if I can get somebody to pick me up the latest season of Psych from target.

Wal-mart:
Digital Picture Frame
GTA IV and whatever $10 games that look good
$10 blu-rays

Then i'm hoping they will PM bestbuy's ad for left4dead2 for $35 and RE5 for $20

Really wanting to use up that $100 GC i got from buying that arcade.

I already got my mom's laptop from newegg so now I just need a webcam for my computer, and I need a new computer but that purchase will have to wait till after the holidays due to it being ebay season for me and its just too much work for me to setup a new machine in the midst of the madness.

So mainly shopping for a webcam now, and anything else that I might think of that I need that is a good deal.

I also want a karaoke machine that allows me to sing along with my mp3's however I think I am looking for a product that does not exist with that one.

I don't really like going out shopping on BF because I am not one for crowds and I can get pretty much any other good deal during the year by watching Slickdeals and this site.

I will be working Black Friday at 6 am. I somehow managed to dodge the Thanksgiving Day bullet, but my fiance will be stuck working until 10 pm+ Thanksgiving and being there at 6 am Black Friday.

At least, that's how it was set up... but apparently, our district manager told my manager to cut 100 hours out of next week's schedule. Who the fuck cuts hours the week of Thanksgiving?! I'm starting think this guy's looking for an excuse to put our store out of business (or my boss out of a job). If I ever get proof, I'm so turning him in.

I'm not gonna go be going out to the stores this year. I'll be shopping online (mainly Amazon) for a new netbook. I'm hoping to get one for $200 or less with a 6 cell battery. Other than that I might pick up a game or two if there are any really cheap games.

I shopped on Amazon last year and I really didn't buy much (2 BDs, 2 DVDs, and 1 game) but that was because there really wasn't much I wanted. But this year, every store's having some great deals so I'm hoping Amazon matches them.

I'm mainly hoping for some deals on BDs and a few cheapo games.

Don't have much of a list but nearly all of them are for PS3. It's pretty much a general wish list. so...yeah.

DJ Hero
Valkyria Chronicles
Tekken 6
Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Castlevania Double Pack (GBA)

This. 1000000x THIS.

I can't stand the crowds and the line cutters and the bullshit of being out on BF, so I'm going to just keep checking the BF sites and if I see anything I really want I'm buying the shit online.

As of now though nothing is really jumping out at me saying 'buy me', since I have no need for games, dvd's or anything else media related right now.

I'm hoping to see a G10 around $1K to buy online from Amazon.com or somewhere else hopefully.

Official B&M BF stuff(or online, if Amazon matches):
"Bioshock"
"Assassin's Creed"
"Far Cry 2"(maybe)
"The Witcher"
"Sky High" BR $10 at Wal-Mart(crosses fingers)
"The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" hopefully for $10 on BR at Wal-Mart(crossing fingers)
"Pinocchio" for $15 at TRU on BR
Dualshock 3 for $30 from Radioshack.

Most of the other's I'll likely grab shortly after BF, when people are trying to get rid of new copies of "Infamous", LBP GOTY and R&C: A Blink In Time. I figure it'll flood either Amazon or Half.com and make them nice and affordable.

My mother in law has me helping her to find a great deal on a laptop under $500, there are so many damn deals I just want the best bang for the buck and as much quality/features as $500 will buy, lots of deals to be had, but I'm going to see if amazon can come through on that one.

Looking for another higher end 50" or larger LCD for myself, but there's no rush. I will jump if I see a truly insane deal, nothing has jumped out at me yet. Again, hoping amazon throws out some offer I cannot refuse.

I still need to get Modern Warfare 2 for my nephew, the bastard didn't give us his XMas list until after the game was already out so I couldn't get the damn $20 GC from amazon...I'm hoping to find it for $40 or less by XMas day...again hoping amazon comes through with a better deal than the $10 GC.

Otherwise, I printed out and marked everything that's remotely interesting to me in all the available BF ads - walmart, target, best buy, etc. Really very few things that interest me this year, some BDs, PS3, X360, but nothing "MUST HAVE" or "OMFG INSANE DEAL". I will just see what amazon does to match or beat what I have marked. If they do, great. If not, I'm still not going out.

BTW, anyone have experience with Costco on Black Fridays? I went last year during the day and they had crazy deals going on, but I was wondering if they open early and have any early morning hour-only doorbusters.

There's only three things that slightly interest me:

Dragon Age
Braveheart (Blu-Ray)
Gladiator (Blu-Ray)

However, I'm not going anywhere in person to try and get them. If I can't order them online then so be it, and even then I won't be losing any sleep over it. I'm interested in less this year than any previous year.

Holy crap!

After looking at all the store sale lists, I realized there is NOTHING I want this year. Zip. Nada. Not anything good enough to get me out of bed in the morning to squeeze some shopping before I go to work.

Hmmf. I might just check Amazon to see if any random DVDs or video games go insanely cheap.

Target
Gossip Girl seasons 1 & 2 (it's one of my many guilty pleasures)
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots

I'll also check out the $8.99/$12.99 blu-rays.

Wal-Mart
I'll be checking to see what other blu-rays are $10. None of the ones pictured in the ad interest me.

As a caveat, my interest in anything B&M is contingent upon what Amazon has on sale. But if Amazon sucks:

WalMart:
Harry Potter 1-5 BluRays, $10 each
:ds:Lock's Quest $7
:360:NBA 2K10 $25
$2 DVDs

Target:
:360:Shaun White Snowboarding $7

Best Buy:
:360:Dragon Age Origins $34.99
:360:Left 4 Dead 2 $34.99

Gamestop:
B2G1 Used Game Sale

GameCrazy:
:360:Fight Night Round 4 $14.99 (Thursday)

I can live without the Shaun White, I can do GC and GS on days other than BF, and I can get DAO and L4D2 at KMart for about the same as BB, but dammit, I think I am going to have to actually go to WalMart. Come on Amazon!!!

I'm gonna miss living across the street from a shopping mall like I was the past three years. I only waited overnight once (for my Wii in 06) and while it went well, I'll never do it again. It was fun to spectate from the window but people really are crazy after waiting in the cold for XX many hours. That said, the only store I'd willingly step foot into is Gamecrazy in Berea/Middleburgh out here. It was absolutely dead last year since it's in a slow plaza away from shopping areas. If BB and GS put their deals online, here's my gameplan:

BestBuy - RE5 for $19.99 (been sitting on a $5 RZ cert to knock it down to $15/tax) if it's online

Gamestop - Batman:AA for $39.99 (net $14.99 if my $25 survey GC comes in the mail this week, otherwise I can wait on it longer)

Gamecrazy - Prototype for $14.99 (probably means they'll be selling it used for $12.99 or so which would be even better). I'll take a look at FNR4 if the other stores don't put their sale online, but I'm really not looking to spend more than $50 on games for myself when money is tight.

I've revised my formerly non existent list to include a spare Dual Shock 3 from Radio Shack for $29.99(if it's available online) and if Target keeps lowering the price on it I may spring for a full HD LCD monitor(20-21") that has an HDMI port on it to play my PS3 on.

It's currently only $159.99 in store.

not much this year. but i'll take valkyria chronicles if its less than $20. i do want to get band hero and guitar hero 5 cheap and maybe lego rockband as well.

I'm looking for:

Black DS3 (maybe Radio Shack if the one next to my house carries it)
A bunch of blu-rays
Also looking for a secondary monitor (I do a lot of computer graphics stuff, would really help out)

Not really looking for any games, but if a good deal comes up then I'll probably buy it.

NBA 2k10 & UFC Undisputed - $25 Ea. (Walmart)
Used DS Lite - $60 (GS)
$7 & $10 Used Game bins (Walmart)
Left4Dead2 - $35 (Bestbuy)
Buy2Get1 Free (GS)
Games $30 and under - $5 (Hollywood Video)

Hoping for some $20ish 360 controllers on amazon, or some other spectacular deals to blow my $40 VG credit on. Also going to build my GC collection with that B2G1 at EB.

Dragon Age and GTAIV for sure. A friend's getting Forza 3 so that's off my list. I was hoping for Borderlands for cheaper than $40, so I'll wait on it or use GS credit. Other than that, dunno.

What's the story with this $30 and under for $5 at Hollywood Video. I didn't see any thread about this, nor did I see this mentioned in the Black Friday deals thread.

I'm assuming it's any used game $30 or under will be $5? Only on Friday? Only at Hollywood Video locations (i.e. no Game Crazy locations or combo stores)?

I had no idea they were doing this on Black Friday, but it's usually only at standalone HWV locations, and any used game under $29.99 is $4.99. No idea if that sale is only for Black Friday, though. Last time they did it, it lasted quite a while.

It's been talked about for a while in the HWV deals thread being run by TheKrakRabbit.

I think I'll add the Buy 2, Get 1 Free to my list of what I'm getting. Since I'm going down to the mall, I might as well stop and get three games.
