What is this Game?

The old school baord was down so a little gaming question for the non topic is cool.
ok...

It was a side scroling platformer maybe with a caveman maybe with something totally different. But there were fruit bunches to pick up as power ups. Real bright graphics and colors. Not too bad of a game. Maybe NES, but I remember playing an arcade of this. I think there are multiple games I played but were similar. anyone know?

hmm 4 games listed so far and they all sound like they could be it. Gotta play it to remember though. Adventure Island could be it. Was there an arcade version of it?

adventure island did have a short arcade stint...and it def sounds like it. in the first one you could run into eggs and get axes to throw or get a skateboard

dude that's it it's def adventure island because now i remember the skateboard. I played it all the time in HS at school(yes my HS had an arcade room that constantly was updated with new titles and the latest machines) thanx everyone I wanna play it maybe I'll buy the arcade machine.
