What popular sitcom do you hate?

Nah, I have little to complain about. The differences in taste don't really get in the way of anything. It makes for less time to do that stuff, but you have to make some sacrifice. I usually make her listen to my music when we are in my car though. ;) I like so much though that there is usually something I have that she likes. So I guess it's not zero that we have in common for music. The good stuff she likes though, I have turned her onto it for the most part.

She plays games so that makes up for it. She wasn't really a gamer before we met, but she likes to play now. When Dark Alliance 2 came out she was so excited cause we had so much fun playing the first one for hours on end in 2 player co-op. Lately we've been switching off playing the crash challenges on Burnout 2. :D
 
Will and Grace should be listed also. Just because it's gay comedy doesn't mean it's funny. That is all it takes to be popular though, it seems.

I'd rather be on a date and shart during dinner than watch it.
 
I chose Seinfeld since I fucking hate it. I love the Simpsons, Home Improvement and The Drew Carey Show. I guess if I like Cheers, I may like Frasier, but I've never bothered to watch it. I hate the others though, along with Will and Grace, Dharma and Greg, and most of the crap on CBS and NBC.
 
I don't understand how one goes about hating Seinfeld. They probably just haven't seen the right episodes.

The bastard show's only humor comes from exploiting stereotypes... and the worst part is that that's what people LIKE about the show. *shudder and hate*

i bought s1 because it was like $15 or $20 at amazon.com a long while back...the episodes that ive briefly seen on tv were horrible IMHO...i could never understand why EVERYBODY LOVES THIS MOTHERfucker...so that's why i bought it...to try and understand...i apparantly haven't wanted to understand badly enough because it still sits on my shelf

i also hate frasier because well, i hate frasier and his stupid brother

i hate will and grace because well, let's leave that to the vs forum

i hate king of the hill because well, i don't find redneck humor funny...much like the horribly unfunny larry the cable guy
 
From that list I hate: Home Improvement, King of Queens, Friends, Fraiser, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Drew Carey Show (even though I use to watch this one). THOSE SHOWS SUCK!

Seinfeld didn't get really good until the very end of Season 2 and all of Seasons 3 and 4. Kind of exactly like how if someone only watched Season 1 of the Simpsons and then said it wasn't that great you could kind of see where they were coming from....
 
Everyone loves Raymond.

The truth about that show is that if those were real people, the husband and wife woiuld be getting divorced, the old parents would be estranged from their children and foorced to survive on their own, and the brother would have committed suicide. The show pokes fun at abuse and deception.
 
To be honest, I don't hate any of those shows. Seinfeld has nary a bad episode, Friends I grew up with, and similar stuff with the other shows.

I guess if I had to pick, I'd say King of Queens, because I "only" don't mind for it.

I think the sitcom I hated the most was probably Boy Meets World. Just so predictable, even when I was young I knew what was gonna happen.

Mr. Feeny = KITT so the whole freaking show and anything associated with it from the beginning of time until forever gets a free pass.

True, except for all the spelling errors and unreadable parts. Will and Grace is my least favorite by a mile. it should have been up there.
 
There are two shows I haven't seen in that list: King of Queens and The Drew Carey Show. Not sure if I could vote on shows I haven't seen yet. If I can, then I vote King of Queens. I just don't like the name. :) But if I can only vote on show I've seen, I'll probably pick Everybody Loves Raymond. That show just didn't click with me. Other shows, I either watch occasionally or frequently.

Wow! I thought I was the only one in the world that hated Seinfield but it looks like I have company (a silent company that is).

King of Queens is not funny . I watch a few episodes and I did not laugh once!
 
I was going to vote for Home Improvement, but when I saw Raymond on the list, well, there was just no question about it. I noticed that Yes, Dear isn't on the list. At first I thought it could give Raymond a run for it's money in this poll, but then I realized that it isn't popular enough to be mentioned. Ditto for that one with Jami Gertz.
 
How can anybody hate King of Queens?

No way - seriously does anyone here like this show, it totally stinks! How can this show be popular. It's the worst TV I have ever seen in my entire life - completely, totally, unabashedly awful. I'd rather watch Arliss (yeah, that bad!)

I hate Everybody Loves Raymond and Fraiser.

Another show that is not on the list that I also hate is The Cosby Show. I just never found Bill Cosby to be funny. I always thought that man was overrated. Besides that theres another show that I just hate also but isn't that popular as compared to the shows listed above is Laguana Beach.
