What seems to be the going rate on the pstwo on ebay?

I've seen em as high as $175 so far, no lower than $150 plus shipping of course, so it all works out close to the same I guess. Reason I'm asking is I know these will be quite a commodity in the upcomming month or so, and I also know I can get a hold of a few of em. So, I'm thinking of perhaps making a little badly needed cash by peddling some pstwo's over evilbay.
 
I'm not sure about the ebay going rate, but I really can't see how someone won't be able to find one if they shop around a little. A few weeks ago as I was waiting online at TRU they ran out of PSTwo's. A thirty minute trip to another, I saw a few dozen. Granted that was a little while ago, I think anyone who really wants one that badly should be able to find it.

However, in the upcoming holiday season, people may feel the need to spend the extra cash to insure they actually get it - good luck with that. Last I heard from EB, their stock was variable. If someone is not best of shoppers and rely on one store, than you may just have a potential clientele right there.

Are you going to include some games with it, or sell it straight? :eek:
 
I can think of better investments to make with your money. At best, you will prolly pull in a net profit of 20 bucks if there is a demand for them. If there isn't, you went through all of this just to pull even or make a few bucks.
 
Eh, I can get em for $135 + tax...so about $143. Either way, I'm not sure about going through with this scheme or not, hence the topic. If it looks like I'll net a guaranteed $25+ per unit, I'll probably go for it. I can turn that extra cash into a game naturally. Just weighing the potential costs and benefits right now.

Also true, as does time and shipping costs. Everything must be factored. That's why if I can net $25+ I'll have to seriously consider this. Although, I must admit I'm probably looking more towards making $50 over cost. So, if these things start to hit $200 online because of xmas demand, I won't hestitate for a second to start selling them.
 
I HIGHLY doubt you'll see the PStwo going for ~$200. They're in good supply pretty much everywhere. Now the DS on the other hand......
 
You could probably get a better return on your money on something else like the latest Elmo doll.

If you could get a $25 profit a console, you have to minus eBay instertion fees, FVF fees, and Paypal fees. Also add your time and effort to pack and ship it.

It shocks me the price these go for. I just saw a ton of these at the local WMT this morning. Did my area just get overstocked? Does anyone really have a hard time finding these for $150?

Too lazy to get off the couch? There are quite a few of them locally here as well.
 
Walmart, EB, Futureshop... every one of these that I visit has stacks of the PSTwo sitting around. They are going for $180 CDN which is actually less than $150 USD now at the current exchange rate. ;) Of course, the 15% tax ruins the fun. :(
 
These seem to be going for around $180+ now on ebay... I think I might end up picking up a few, and try to sell them the first week in December. I figure if I just sell maybe two or three I'd stand to make $100 in profit.
