no they exchanged one for a different one and sold the exchanged one
This assumes that 1) the person who bought Bioshock bought it at retail, 2) the same person wants to exchange Bioshock for another game at retail, and 3) someone buys Bioshock at retail. And if all these things fall into place (minus the costs of the return process and shelf space for the game), the store will be in the same place in which it would have been if it had sold their game (exchanged to the person who had Bioshock originally) at retail, right? While #3 might be likely to happen, #1 & #2 aren't since OP is going through all this trouble to save a few bucks. At best case, the store has a game sold, which would have been more profitable without the exchange. At least, that's my understanding of it.
