What the hell is everyone playing?!

I was about halfway through Bard's Tale at the beginning of December. I've been too busy to even look at my PS2 for the past month, so that's been on hold.

I got several games for Christmas this year (even one from my wife, who NEVER gives me games at Christmas), but I hate to leave games unfinished, so I'm going to try finishing up Bard's Tale before I dive into those. Still, I did start Shadow of the Colossus today.

I got a ds for xmas. And I got animal crossing(ds), mario kart(ds),final fantasy lv(gba). Games I had got prior to that were astro boy(gba, VERY sweet gba shooter/platformer), metroid pinball, nintendogs, klonoa 2(gba). so my time is has been full, playing mainly animal crossing, and mario kart.

My wife also got me shadow of the colossus. So I am in gaming heaven right now. It was the best x-mas since I was like 6-7 yrs old!

Finished Ratchet and Clank 1 about 2 weeks ago and now I think about 2/3rd the way through R+C:Going Commando. Some aspects are improved, but some I don't like. Guns purchased at the beginning of the game just aren't viable in late game even upgrade and mods. I also don't like that not all of the weapons can be replenished by breaking ammo crates, you have to actually purchase sythnoids and a few other weapon's ammo. Other than that, the aiming is much improved and the controls tighter.

I rented King Kong for the 360. Man I'm VERY impressed with this game. The environments and artwork and gorgeous and the first person levels are very intense and very addictive. Too bad the Kong levels aren't that fun, but the presentation is amazing. This again shows why Ubisoft is my favorite developer.

PS2
Culdcept - Hands down my favorite game for PS2. Still working on getting all the medals and all the cards.

Tekken 5 - The first game from the TRU I cracked open; awesome, I'm glad they returned to the more Tekken 3-like mechanics.

Killzone - The first game I cracked open from the TRU sale. I've been pleasantly surprised, definitely a far better game than I expected; my brother and I had a blast with the split-screen multiplayer maps with bots.

Xeonsaga I - Trying to make a dent into my RPG backlog...

Xbox
I've gotten to the ice planet with a shitload of yettis on R&C: Going Commando and I am realy beginning to hate this game.
you're really close to the end. Just curious but why do you hate it though?

Half Life 2 is now consuming my free time... I feel like a douche bag for doing it on Xbox instead of PC, but I'm not building a new PC until next month. Massive props on the console translation though IMO, squeezing that out of the Xbox's GeForce 2 chipset.

I've beaten a lot of 360 games this week, which I've needed to do. It's hard beating all these games I buy when I work 12 hour shifts everyday. Thank god I'm on a well deserved week vacation for the holidays.

Anyways, now I'm playing Half-Life 2 (xbox), Kameo, PGR3, and PDZ online.
