I happened upon a dozen or so Genesis sports games, mostly EA stuff (Maddens, NHL games). They're all complete and in good shape... I just have no idea what to do with them... I don't know the sports game market (but enough to know that 99.9% of them are worthless) or the Genesis market very well. The games are:

John Madden Football CIB
John Madden Football 92 (x2) CIB
Lakers vs. Celtics CIB
John Madden Football 93 CIB
NHLPA Hockey 93 CIB
NHL 94 CIB (has some trading cards, still sealed)
PGA Tour Golf II
Road Rash 3 Cart/Box
Bulls vs. Blazers CIB
Barcelona Gold 92 CIB
Evander Holyfield Boxing CIB
James Buster Douglass Boxing CIB
PGA Tour Golf CIB
Lakers vs Bulls and the NBA Finals CIB

I was thinking of just gutting them for the cases and selling the carts/manuals as a lot on eBay unless you guys have a better suggestion...

Is that Madden 93 the Championship Edition? You could actually pull close to $20 out of it. Otherwise, I'd pretty much go with the using the case and sell the carts in a lot.

Road Rash 3 isn't your typical cartridge sports game; idk about value, but that series has always been popular among Genesis owners.

Most of the times with sports game I toss them in a big bundle and pass them along with other stuff as filler and fodder. Then I'm sure that person eventually does the same thing and they just rotate around through a few owners until someone throws them away or dumps them somewhere.

As of now, this is my favorite idea.

I've actually seen people do something like that, they tear off the front labels and put it n ebay

op do a listing "lot of genesis games, all missing labels, no idea what they are" :p

Make a flame thrower and melt those suckas. Be sure to scream loud obscenities while doing it.

Genesis sport games are pretty valuable to the repro and homebrew crowd. My friend gets $2.50 a piece for them from some guy in Braintree, MA. The guy uses them to make Mega Man: The Wily Wars and all sorts of unreleased Genesis games.

You might be able to give them away for the cost if shipping in the Cag freebie thread, dump them as a lot on eBay, or goozez

I think we have a winner!

You interested in selling a few for cost of shipping? If so, I'd be interested in the following.

Bulls vs. Blazers CIB
Barcelona Gold 92 CIB
Evander Holyfield Boxing CIB
James Buster Douglass Boxing CIB
PGA Tour Golf CIB
Lakers vs Bulls and the NBA Finals CIB
