What was the last CD you bought? - The Sequel
Fever Ray - Fever Ray
Nice! I don't know why, but I dig the shit out of that album. Normally dark music like that doesn't have such "pop" style synth elements. But it works.

If you liked that, you should check out The Knife's "Silent Shout" album.

I haven't heard that album yet, I'll have to check it out.

Frontline Assembly - Improvised. Electronic. Device.

Heard the first half of it. Stupidity is better than I thought, although I wouldn't say it's like a Filth Pig Track.

Next Up: Tribute to the Prodigy.

Bioshocked, I really like those vinyl photos. Nothing better than the big artwork of records. Some great choices there, especially Neil Young and Dylan.

Definitely second this recommendation. Fever Ray is actually a side project of The Knife's female lead vocalist.

You guys might like Delphic, too...his album, Acolytes, finally just came out in the US today.

I can't believe I just now got introduced to these guys:

I love these guys. Got my CDs on Saturday and listened to them through probably 10 times already.

For anyone who doesn't know, the Protomen do big rock opera.

Based on Mega Man.

It's insanely awesome and so far beyond the source material. It's much darker and takes a deeper look at themes of heroism and responsibility.

Take a look at their website: www.protomen.com, they have up some tracks from both albums. They're not fully in order, so the story gets a little disjointed, but you can get a feel for their music. The best ones up there, imho are "Unrest in the House of Light" and "Will of One".

Oh, and if you do pick em up, buy the CDs. They have full liner notes with additional story elements not in the lyrics. Not required, but highly recommened.

Picked up my biggest haul of records ever while I was on a road trip to Denver to see the Dead Weather. There was a place called Independent Records next to the venue and they had a discount section of 33 cent LPs. (I think I did a quadruple take when I saw this  ) I picked up 31 albums for a total of $11.02

Time to ask for a recommendation.

Looking to pick up some Placebo cds. Just not sure where to start. I always enjoyed their singles but kind of forgot about them when they released their newest album and apparently it wasn't all that good anyway. But now I've gotten hungry for their music again so I ask you fellow CAGs where should I start.
