How's the Black Milk album? I'm pretty interested.

Gang Starr: Moment Of Truth
Gang Starr: Hard To Earn
Gang Starr: Daily Operation
The Roots: Phrenology
Public Enemy: Apocalypse '91...The Enemy Strikes Back 1991
Public Enemy: Fear Of A Black Planet
Public Enemy: It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back

Picked up the following in the past two days:

J Dilla - Ruff Draft
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
Andrew Bird - Armchair Apocrypha
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - Living with the Living
El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead
Black Milk - Popular Demand
El-P - Fandam Plus

I also picked up MF DOOM's MM...FOOD? on vinyl. Pretty psyched about that. :)

I picked up the Shiny Toy Guns cd about a week ago, and it's not bad from what I've gotten to listen to (haven't had a chance to rip it to my mp3 player yet). It has kinda a 80's feel to it, which I suppose is the "in" thing these days, but the songs are pretty catchy and I like the trade-off of the male/female lead vocals.

Next up will probably be Survivalism.

Between The Chinkees and all of the Asian Man stuff, I'd say you're a Mike Park fan. Nice.

Relient K - Five Score And Seven Years Ago
Sherwood - A Different Light
The Decemberists- The Crane Wife
I actually bought two this weekend, which brings my yearly total up to... two.

"Weird Al" Yankovic - Straight Outta Lynnwood (DualDisc)
Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage Special Edition

The Decemberists - The Crane Wife

I really like the folk-tinged sound and the intelligent lyrics ("By land, by sea, by dirigible").

from lala.com.

I don't buy CDs often, but if I were to want to buy music legitimately, I definitely would buy a CD--either through lala, deepdiscount, or yourmusic. I won't pay 15.99 for a CD at Best Buy, but I also won't pay 99 cents a track or even 9.99 for middle-bitrate aac files, I'll just buy the disk and rip my own.

Hopefully you're liking it. I can't stop listening to it.

If you ever have the chance to see them live then you really have to do it.
