Honestly, i feel there are few titles, in terms of exclusives, for the 360 that would make me want to buy one. I already have one, but on the horizon, there are very few exclusives to get excited about.

What are you fellas feelin?

Alan Wake Who knows?

Exclusive Splinter Cell could show potential.

Gears of war 2 if it comes out.

Whats gonna make u proud to be a 360 owner in '08?
 
Resident Evil 5. This game is pretty much the sole reason I bought a 360. (Well not really, I wanted Gears too, but I wasn't sold until I heard about Dead Rising).

Looking forward to:

RE5
Gears of War 2 (hopefully)
Dead Rising 2 (maybe?)
Silent Hill 5
Postal 3
Unreal Tournament III (which better support mouse and keyboard!)

capcom announced that RE5's officially release date is sometime in 2009.

My most anticipated for '08 on the 360 are Devil May Cry 4 and Too Human.
 
I try, but I find it hard to be proud of consumer electronics.

Maybe I'd be proud if it went to college and became a doctor that worked free of charge curing children of halitosis.

It's called Alan Wake. Remedy is the developer of my absolute favorite game (Max Payne 2) so I have high hopes for Alan Wake.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is my 2nd favorite game, so I have high hopes for Splinter Cell: Conviction as well.
 
Fable 2 will likely make me happy to have a 360...but overall, with the hardware failures and $50 XBL, i'll likely be getting a PS3 or Wii sometime this year.

Any hope for a Max Payne 3?...I know the story was all patched up at the end of "Downfall", but those games were fucking awesome. The max payne games were one of my favorite obsessions on the PS2.

Now that i know its the guy's behind Max payne doing it, i'll be checking out Alan Wake for sure.

Although the only reason i ever wanted a damn 360...is because of GTA IV...Nothing else matters in my Opinion, i am confident in this game Ruling the motherfucking world.

Also im gonna be playing Bully...Again.

And mercenaries 2 is looking to be 20x's better than its previous game.

I believe Take-Two announced a new Max Payne a few months ago, but I have no idea who is developing it. If you haven't already, try playing Max Payne 1 & 2 on PC or Xbox (both games are backwards compatible) as they are far superior to the PS2 versions.

BINGO! I'll also be proud if when I call customer support for the console, I get someone born on the same continent as me with the power to think outside the box rather than just reading off a list of quotes.
 
I won't settle for anything less than straight A's.

And who's bringing up Alan Wake? That game is still happening? When I got my 360 I saw a preview video for it (April 2006?), but have not heard a word on it since then. It had a cool "generic Dean Koontz book in video game form" vibe to it, but my hopes are as high for this game as they are for Duke Nukem Forever.
 
If I can actually get on xbox live without problems. Hasn't happened so far for 2008.
 
'08 for me almost seems like its still hazy.

'07 the 360 owned some major ass. I need to play the '07 games before the '08 one come out.

And some of these games I know little of. They seem like the kinda games that are brand new ideas and experimtation.
 
As long as it stays the course and performs as well as it did in 07, I'll be very happy.

At the moment it's shaping up to be the best console I've ever owned.

EDIT - a sequel to Lost Planet or Dead Rising would be nice to.
 
Hmmm... if I can finish CoD4, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, The Orange Box and Rock Band sometime this year it will be a huge success for 2008. I need to pick one and run with it though - I've played all of them for about 15 minutes to an hour each and can't decide (except for The Orange Box where I'm about 2 hours into Half-Life 2 and finished Portal). I can't seem to focus on any one game...
 
Lost Odyssey being awesome is about the only exclusive that would make me 'proud' of my 360. Some sweet JRPGs would help too I guess.

Proud? err... I don't really get a sense of pride from my inanimate possessions.

But I am looking forward to Alan Wake.

Dead Rising 2 would be nice.

Eh, I just took 'proud' to mean happy you own it or whatever. I don't think anyone would be proud of their 360 in a literal sense, unless they are talking about it not RRODing on them.
 
Lost Odyssey I guess. It's the only exclusive I can think of that I want. Is there a list somewhere?

EDIT: Forgot about NG2 and possibly Splinter Cell. Hope they don't make the same mistakes with NG2 that they did with Sigma on the PS3.
 
Proud of my 360 in 2008? I'm damn proud of it now ... Bioshock, Mass Effect, Orange Box, CoD4, Saints Row, Crackdown, Halo 3, xbox live, xbox live arcade and marketplace, etc. It would have to start playing with my wang in 2008 to make me much more happy with it.
 
Nothing really has me excited yet, aside from the possiblity of Gears 2.

But I just got my 360 in Oct. so I have a ton of games to catch up on anyway.

You guys basically wrote my entire wish list already. However, one game that I doubt anyone else is looking forward to is Dreamfall Chapters. It's supposed to be the sequel to Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, and comes in episodic format. I do hope it comes to the 360, and preferably before the year's end, since Funcom said it's a possibility.
