what will YOUR next console be? WHY??

Revolution @ Launch - Dare to be Different ... so long as it works.
PS3 when there's a price drop to $150. Yes, I am a patient person.

Phew, thats some major patience. I predict you'll be waiting until at least....2010? Maybe it'll drop that low right before the PS4? But of course, if you believe Sony, they want it to stay the same price for the better part of its life cycle.

Being patient helps making being a CAG that much easier.

next console? prolly an xbox, im sure the used prices will drop like rocks after the 360 is out.

sony and nintendo, i need to see some release data on (price, date, titles) but im very intrested in the revolution at the point, and i WILL have a ps3 by the time mgs4 launches, but i believe thats 2007? i need to rack up some store credit ^^
The Spongebob GBA w/ brighter screen. Wasn't expecting that, were ya? ;)
My fiance has been begging me for one of those ever since we saw them at TRU. There went my Micro money .. blah.

I will get the X360 when the Jumbo Pack hit $299 or less. Will pick the Revolution on launch if it launches at the suspected $200 price range. Otherwise I will wait until that price.

I'm definitely getting Revolution at launch, then after a price drop (or two to be exact) I will get a 360 and PS3.

Xbox 360, because I won it. I probably would have gotten it anyway, but it would have been after a price drop or two.

If I didn't win it, it would probably be the Revolution. Then it would be whichever between the PS3 and the 360 to hit the 250 price point for the premium , or top tier edition (assuming that Sony makes one).

Probably the Revolution for me. I'm limiting myself to one next-gen console until I finish my backlog of current-gen games (and PS1 RPGs).
Am I the only Fatal Frame fanboy here?
I dunno. I've always wanted to play thag game and never got the chance. Maybe I'll pick up a used copy. PS2 right?

A DS

Why? Castlevania: DS, Innovative games like Yoshi Touch and Go, Don't want to spend the $ for a PSP, I've been happy with Nintendo products the past few generations, Revolution won't be out for a while and I'd probably wait for the inevitable price drop if it costs more than $150 anyway, Backwards Compatibility, Portable systems are good for casual gamers but the GBA is getting a little long in tooth, I'll be doing a little side job in October at my workplace in October and will be earning about $130.

I don't know yet, whichever system has the highest volume of games available (or will be released shortly) which I am interested in at the time the price of the system is low enough for me to bite.

In the generation before this last one I had an N64, a PSone, and a dreamcast. When the time came to decide between the PS2, GCN, and Xbox I just did the simple anaysis above, and the PS2 had not only a higher amount of games, a greater variety of games, and lower overall price of games than the other 2 systems at the time, so I picked PS2. If this generation the X360 or the Rev have a better lineup of games at the time of the 1st or 2nd price drop, I will bite on that instead of the PS3.

Revolution because I've got all the 360 games on my Xbox (that is, I've yet to see anything on the 360 that will convince me that it's really different from any other system past or present).
My sister said she would buy me a Xbox 360 probably Christmas. So who am I to complain?
You better hope santa makes one especially for you.... because most stores are sold out. Ebgames has so many pre orders that " Yeah you can reserve one, but your name would come up on the list the middle of next year"

Your sister will have to sit outside bestbuy for 2 days to score you one.

But for me my next console will be Ps3 that will replace my computer for gaming. To try to match its speed would cost a couple grand rather than shelling out $400 or so.

But now i just got a Ps2 so i have plenty of stuff to keep me busy for a long time :bouncy:
Am I the only Fatal Frame fanboy here?
I played the first one and thought it was pretty awesome. Crimson butterfly just hasn't fallen into my "pricezone sweetspot" yet.

I will be getting all 3 of them but i 'm looking forward to great rpgs from playstation 3, there is just so much games for playstation 2. 3 shouldn't be any different.

I just preordered XBOX 360, finally. This is going to be my first launch console. ;o

The original XBox or PS2 when they drop in price a little bit more... unless the Revolution comes out by then and launches at $200.

I'm still undecided. It'll depend a lot on what type of games are available on the console. Right now, I'm leaning toward Nintendo Revolution.

I think the next console I buy will be a Philips CD-i, so I can play those awful CD-i Zeldas, because I am a masochist.

After that, I need a TurboGrafx or a NeoGeo.
I'm also ecited about Oblivion and playing games in HD.

How about you guys?
I play in HD now, there are quite a few games in 720p for the XBOX.. But to answer I will have all 3 at some point but I thought I was going to get a 360 day of launch but I have backed off of that idea. (But I bet I will jump when Halo3 hits the stores.)
PS3 is looking good but I want ot see price point and launch titles before I say I'm 100%.
If the revo comes out at around 200-250 I will be all over that day of.. But I have a ton to play then Zelda in April (I hope) I can hold off for a price drop and some games to come out
Revolution
Cause I'm a Big Nintendo fan and Sony and MS don't have enought good games coming out at launch for me to justify the high price tag. Will get the 360 at first price drop and I'll get the PS3 once the first Exclusive Square game comes out for it.
Pretty much me.

I'll buy the 360 when either a) It gets hacked b) Too Human comes out (2007)

I'll buy a Revolution at launch, because I want a different way to play games (it reminds of the DS in some ways, and the DS is my current favorite system)

I most likely will not buy a Playstation 3, and if I do, it won't be because of Square, as I think they've lost their touch.
