What's a good DVD collection database to use?

I used to use DVD Aficionado long ass time ago, wanted to know if there's a better one, or is that still the best one to use? I haven't used it in like 5 years too, haha. any recommendations would be appreciated.

My favorite is DVD Profiler for all the advanced customization, reports, and the easy keeping up with how much I spend on each title. Also I can tag movies that are mine, my wifes, or ones that I intend to resell and easily pull up just those specific ones.

After a certain amount of titles you have to pay for it, but it's like a one time $30 fee and you get lifetime upgrades. If you have a large DVD collection, it's probably the best software out there.

It has Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, and DVD titles that can be looked up via UPC, title, or inserting the disc in you computer's disc drive. Oh and you can upload your collection to their website from the software so you can have a copy of your collection online for others to see if you like.

interesting ill check that out, thanks for the suggestion, but a little iffy on the whole paying thing, i have about 100 or so dvds, not sure if thats too little or too much for it, thanks though!!

If you only have 100 DVD Aficionado may still be the way to go. I think the limit is 50 you can enter with the trial version of DVD Profiler.

I've got like 1,500 so I get my money's worth out of the software. I also still use DVD Aficionado as a backup.

alright cool, yeah that site you suggested it seems like something i might want to invest in for the future, but not right now, thanks :)

Thanks for the heads-up on this software, it's awesome.

Another vote for DVDProfiler. Yes, it's pay [for full functionality]. But if you consider yourself a 'DVD collector', it's well worth it. Huge database, tons of add-ons, easy to enter new titles, and a local database with a website listing as well. I also just downloaded "My Movies" on my iphone which syncs with your DVDPro website.

I've only got ~700 dvds or so but I haven't regretted buying DVDPro at all.
