Are you not religious or not heavily religious? You've contradicted yourself in the span of two sentences.
I dont keep kosher and i went to public school...
Like most here, I'm sure - it'd be hard to find someone to criticize you for that. You're awfully defensive from the get go, aren't you?
Any questions about my religion im here to answer...
Yet you're not religious. Or not heavily religious. Or whatever it is.

Let me ask you: what was the impetus for starting this topic? I have no hatred of Jews. I disagree with the "Israel is always right, Palestine is always wrong" attitude that many Americans and our political leaders tend to bring to the table. That kind of oversimplification is dishonest and dangerous. But that doesn't mean that I hate Jews, and nor does it mean that I love Palestinians. Instead, I prefer to think that I don't buy into absolute arguments about one being "good" and one being "evil." I save that shit for when I'm reading a novel.

Anyway, what is the reason you've brought this up? Someone (or several someones) must have said/done something.

very interesting on what u have to say well i am very tired here on a 3 hours a day sleep (alot of papers and things to do)... todays holocaust rememberence day and i have been really getting into the topic of World War II. l.... Another reason why is my call of duty 2 online name is the Jew and i have been getting very negative comments from fellow users . Sorry for all my grammer errors.....Very tired... a lot of stress.... im just interested in other peoples opinions and views of anti-semitisim.. well have to leave CAG this is how i feel...

i dislike some jews but here is the catch I am jewish. I dislike all the stereotypical woody allen jews. I hate the cheap, whiney, complaining jews. I dislike Jewish American Princesses and how many jews are shown in movies saying "OY" or are loud and one dimensional in appearance or speech. Jews have enough crap against them without a bunch of token jews making things even worse.

You should ask this question at gamefaqs - I believe most of your detractors lurk there.

I must point out that this isn't meant literally, but clearly applies to all makers of dairy in general.

I live on Long Island, Ya know "Jew York" my moms best friend is Jewish. I grew up with dozens of them played sports, videogames, hung out....

Um WTF is this about again?
If you want to get technical, the Jews killed Jesus, who was the savior of the Christians and a phrophet of the Muslims.
Yea, but if you wanna get REALLY technical... He knew he was going to die and it was, infact, part of his plan. Additionally, if he hadn't died, we wouldn't have been forgiven for our sins.

Thanks for that terrible statement of stereotypical anti-semetic "Chrisitans."
Technically, the Romans crucified Jesus, the Jews in Jersualem just wanted it to happen. But that's all moot, since he willingly gave up his life for the sins of everyone (yes, even the people who will flame such a reply!).

The Jewish people have been hated from the get-go. From Sinai they were a people set apart and therefore ones who the rest of the nations despised. After the time of Christ, the Jewish persecutions of Christians resulted in a polarizing of the two groups and animosity built up. The crusades brought with it a despicable outlash against Muslims and Jews alike by some in Christendom.

The social answer would be, in part, people have always disliked the Jews and therefore, the more narrowminded of folk dislike them because that's how they learned. Add to that the strife beween Muslim and Jewish lands and the Holy Land and you have an issue.

The religious answer would be that Jews rejected their Messiah God in Jesus (while the Muslism would say they do not worship Allah). For a Christian, hatred of the Jews is hardly appropriate, and any Christian who hates Jewish people for their race is a biggot. But a hatred of a religion that is leading millions of people to hell because of the rejection of their Savior, that's a different story. That hatred shouldn't be expressed in violence, though, but in care and concern for the souls of those who have been mislead to teach them the true fulfillment of thier misapplied religion.

Mainstream modern "christianity" is really just an extension of the ideology espoused by St. Paul and the Roman beaureaucrats who politicized, legislated, and marketed a demystified version of Jesus' message.

The Romans didn't just wash their hands once of the affair, they're still trying to get all the blood off.

The empire never ended...

QFT

This is the stupidest topic I have seen in a long time.

while the Muslism would say they do not worship Allah

Actually, since they are "people of the book", they are viewed as worshipping the same god. At least that's the view of the mainstream scholars.

Those with faith, those who are Jews, and the Christians and Sabaeans, all who have faith in Allah and the Last Day and act rightly, will have their reward with their Lord. They will feel no fear and will know no sorrow. (Surat al-Baqara; 2:62)

Say, 'People of the Book! come to a proposition which is the same for us and you - that we should worship none but Allah and not associate any partners with Him and not take one another as lords besides Allah.' If they turn away, say, 'Bear witness that we are Muslims.'(Surah Al 'Imran; 3:64)

Though there are also passages that argue that others follow corrupted versions of gods words, they hold that the are incorrect in understanding the truth presented in their texts. Though, my personal opinion is that these passages are directed more at individuals. The ones I quoted say "being X faith is not damning", while the others complain more about behavior among certain members of those faiths.

Hmm...stereotypes....*tries to think*....

Err, Jews are cheap, arrogant (they're the chosen ppl), uhh...killed Jesus...

I don't have anything against Jews. I also don't have anything about Muslims either; I have a friend who is Muslim and is possibly the nicest person I've ever met. I judge people based on who they are, not whether they're Jesus-loving or Allah-loving or crazy general who brainwashed people with movies-loving.

^^^ This is why I think things get a little better with time. I think a lot more people think like this dude nowadays than they did fifty years ago.
