11/28 Mario and Luigi 2

I just included the games I thought were worthy of preorder consideration, but if you put down $5 on wac-a-mole, I want to know! You can either have preordered it or plan to buy it the week it comes out. Dates from ebgames.com.

I'll go first. I've preordered Lost in Blue and Lunar, and I'm definately getting Trauma Center, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing when they come out.

Probably won't pre-order unless there is some sort of bonus.
I'll be getting Castlevania, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing the day they come out.
Then Mario and Luigi 2 and Viewtiful Joe sometime around release.

I don't know about preordering, but I'm going to buy:

9/27 Lost in Blue
10/4 Trauma Center
11/14 Mario Kart
11/28 Mario and Luigi 2
12/5 Animal Crossing

The week of release, among other non-listed titles.

I MAY get Trace Memory, but I doubt it.

Going to Pre-Order:
Trace Memory
Lost in Blue
Trauma Center

They just seem like the type of games that I know thier only going to order like only 3 or 4 copies of.

Going to Buy:
Lunar Dragon Song
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing

I just preordered

lost in blue
lunar dragon song
trauma center

I will get

Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
Viewiful Joe

Can't wair for next year, when baten kaitos and xenosaga 1 & 2 comes out, and does anybody no if Trace Memory is good, i heard it was really short.

I think next time I'm at GS or EB, I'm going to preorder Lost in Blue and Trauma Center. Just 5 bucks, though. =P

I think Trauma Centers gonna do pretty well in the good ol US of A :)

10/4 Trauma Center
11/14 Mario Kart
11/28 Mario and Luigi 2
12/5 Animal Crossing

9/26 Trace Memory
9/27 Lost in Blue
9/27 Lunar Dragon
10/4 Trauma Center **Already Pre-order it**
10/4 Castlevania **Already Pre-order it**
11/14 Mario Kart
11/14 Black and White Creatures
11/28 Mario and Luigi 2
11/29 Viewtiful Joe
12/5 Animal Crossing

Got to have them all but i must wait for the DEAL or Price Drop :)

I don't know if I'll pre-order all of them, but I'll definitely be getting:

10/4 Trauma Center
10/4 Castlevania
11/14 Mario Kart
11/29 Viewtiful Joe

Dominator, I'm with you on most of those games. Trace memory, lost in blue, castlevania, Mario kart, Viewtiful Joe..and I didnt know Mario and Luigi 2 was coming out so soon. Damn. I need to do more reading on upcoming games.

Damn. I need to do more reading on upcoming games.
Yeah, I didn't realize so many were coming out in the next few weeks. I did my research and Trace Memory doesn't look that good. Apparently it's out in Europe already? I talked to someone who had it, and they said it was too short to be worth the money. I'm going to switch that preorder to Trauma Center soon.

But the videos I watched of Lost in Blue link here look pretty interesting. Apparently cooking and building furniture are touchscreen minigames that look pretty fun. Milking the goat looks a little boring. But the game as a whole looks fun. It's kind of cute how the boy helps the girl out to cross streams, to climb onto a ledge, etc.

Yeah I was thinking of not buying Trace Memory...all reviews point to a short game. I think for the money I'd rather get Lost in Blue which I hope is longer. If anything I'll pick up Trace pre-owned like I did Feel the Magic....but yes I just looked at EB and all the games going into December...oh how my wallet will hurt.

I would like to get all of those at some point, except for Mega Man. Well, Mega Man also if I can find it on the cheap. I'm not going to pre-order them, but I'll most likely pick up a large number of them from Fry's.

My definites off the list for launch pick up are:
9/26 Trace Memory
9/27 Lost in Blue
10/4 Trauma Center
10/4 Castlevania
11/14 Mario Kart
11/28 Mario and Luigi 2
11/29 Viewtiful Joe
12/5 Animal Crossing
I'll get the others at another time, except Lunar (and i'd still get that if it hit $10). Sucks that Lost in Blue comes out the day after Trace Memory. Two niche adventure games so close together is sales suicide.

You should all do like me! Im getting all of those but im waiting to see if TRU pulls through again with the buy 2 get 1 free. If so, the games will come out to 20 bucks a piece.

Don't plan to preorder, really, but I'll definitely get Trauma Center, Castlevania, Lost in Blue, & Mario Kart near launch.

Eventually I'll pick up Mario and Luigi 2, Viewtiful Joe, and maybe Animal Crossing.

It's hard to believe a system that only 8 months ago looked like it was going to get the crap beat out of it by the PSP now will have such a wonderful line up for the holidays. I need to wipe the egg off my face for my lack of faith in Nintendo on this one. I don't know if I can resist picking up pretty much all of those. I have Trauma Center and Lunar pre-ordered now and will likely get Castlevania, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi, and Lost in Blue as well. Wow.

The DS is tons more fun than playing ports of PS2 games on a nice screen.

I have Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and Castlevania on preorder simply because Bestbuy online had a pretty good deal on them a while back...oterhwsie I avoid preorders. Of the rest, I am most excited by Viewtiful Joe. I think it will work great on the DS!

10/4 Trauma Center (pre-ordered from EBgames.com on the day it was $19.99)
10/4 Castlevania

The others I'm waiting for reviews.

No love for Shogun Warrior? Interesting.

I plan to get Lost in Blue and Pheonix Wright near launch, hopefully.

But Trace Memory, Trauma Center, Shogun Warrior, and Mario Kart should all future pick-ups.

I probably won't pre-order unless there are some bonuses to pick up, but I'm planning on getting Mario Kart and AC: DS the instant they come out. Also planning to pick up Trace Memory (I think... though now y'all have got me wondering...), Mario & Luigi 2, Trauma Center, and Harry Potter GoF

Possibly Lost in Blue, Phoenix Wright and Castlevania too...

OH! And Zoo Tycoon... micromanagement in a handheld - sweet!

And I still need to get Meteos... and still trying to decide about Advance Wars... *sigh* I wonder if Nintendo plans to keep this pace up? I'll go broke!

At least I have a birthday and Christmas coming up :D

I preordered 4 titles at BestBuy.com when they had them at 10% and a lower price than retail.

I got:

Metroid
Sonic
Castlevania
Viewtiful Joe

for $24.99 each. Not too bad since 2 or 3 of those retail for $39.99.

I've got a preorder down for Trauma Center. Animal Crossing is my other definite (since that's one of the main reasons I bought the system), but I'm also seriously considering Castlevania & Pheonix Wright.

I've decided to hit up my Target for Trauma Center and Lost in Blue. It's really close by.

The nearest EB Games, Game Stop and Best Buy are a ways away...I don't wanna waste time preordering unless there's a bonus.

But Mario Kart and AC are preorders. I mean, every mom will want to get a nice, friendly, Mario and Animal game for little Bobby's new DS at Christmas.

I don't have a DS yet (Sad, I know.) However, I plan on picking one up when Mario Kart comes out, and I'm going to Advance Wars then too. Now, I have to save up $190.

Advance Wars is the reason everyone should own a DS. I never played it before but now I'm hooked. It's like crack. They pretty much sold me on Battalion Wars for the GC and the new Advance Wars for the GC as well. Damn Nintendo....the sad part is...my GF is trying to cut down my spending by making me buy her the things I buy....fuck I think she just wants a DS and games for free.

Well, you left of Dig Dug Digging Strike, Metroid Pinball, and Sonic Rush. I will pick up Dig Dug from EB with my trade credit if it gets decent reviews.

I have the following preordered at Gamerush - all except one (Lunar, which is only $29.99 anyway) done with the Trade 2 deal so I only paid $29.99 in GR credit (about $15 out of pocket). Also, the preorder increases my chances that I'll actually get them - GR doesn't often get very many copies of DS games, if they get any at all (they never got Pac Pix or Pac N Roll):

Lunar Dragon Song
Metroid Prime Pinball (Oct. 24th)
Black & White Creatures (though GR has this listed as a PSP title - whichever it comes out for is fine with me!)
Mario Kart DS
Sonic Rush (Nov. 15th)
Mario & Luigi DS
Animal Crossing DS

...
and for next year:
Metroid Prime Hunters
Yeah I kind of did the list according to personal bias...

9/27 Lunar Dragon Song - Maybe if the reviews are good

10/4 Trauma Center - Already preordered

11/1 Mega Man Battle Network 5 - Maybe if the reviews are good

11/14 Mario Kart - definitely buying now that I know it has internet linkup

11/14 Black and White Creatures - will have to look into it. It sounds cool but could be poop

11/29 Viewtiful Joe - gonna have to look into it, don't know anything about it.

12/5 Animal Crossing - definitely buying it!

Totally forgot about Phoenix Wright. It sounds incredibly cool but could turn out incredibly bad. Ill wait till I read a few reviews before adding it to my must buy list.

Yeah, I was hoping a few reviews would pop up soon, since this is about a week from release. I only have $5 down for this at GR, so I could cancel it if the reviews came out bad. I *really* want a good RPG for the DS though for those long plane rides/hotel stays I make once a month :(.

Though I've still got Advance Wars to keep me busy for my next trip (which will be Oct 1st - so it would be nice to get Lunar by then).

I never pre-order games unless there's an attractive bonus for doing so. I'll be buying Trace Memory, Mario and Luigi 2, and Animal Crossing at a minimum, but I don't want the bastards to know I'm that badly hooked on their video smack.

Never overestimate the general public. Millions of people have seen the PSP and said "Yes! I want to pay over $300 so I can play a Metal Gear card game!" and millions more will join them in the coming years.

Apparently a lot of people like lame ass movie tie-in games and comic book games, too.

Since my goal is to own all DS titles, I'd have to say I wont be pre-ordering but eventually getting them all when the cash flow permits.

Probably not gonna pre-order any of these, but I'll get em somewhere close to launch...

Trance Memory
Ultimate Spider-Man
Trauma Center
Phoenix Wright
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
Sonic Rush (maybe)

Lunar: Dragon Song (I thougth that was suppose to be out on the 21st...)
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (The Big One for me)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Lost in Blue
Trace Memory
Trauma Center: Under the Knife
Snowboard Kids DS
Mario Kart DS (which I'll probably sell my current DS to get the Red/Flame DS + MK bundle)
Sonic Rush

I've considered going portable for the rest of the year, but... my consoles cry at each thought related to that.

The only one I'll buy with no deal is:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

As for the rest, I got in on the deal for Trauma Center: Under the Knife.

I'm also quite interested in these three:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Lost in Blue
Trace Memory

"Dragon Song, while not a bad game by any tretch, comes nowhere close to living up to that legacy [of the series]."

"The story feels like merely a means of shepherding the player from one monster-filled dungeon to the next. The lac of animated cut-scenes, which are a hallmark of the series, further contributes to the underwhelming nature of the gme's narrative."

"Despite falling short of expectations, Lunar: Dragon Song ultimately delivers a worthwhile adventure."

Rating: 7.0
